Bad experience
The pool was empty, no mattress pad on bed, no ice, intermittent WiFi, TV not functional (but fixed eventually), place being “remodeled “. This place should be avoided. It’s run exceptionally poorly. Trash everywhere.
Totally acceptable motel in a bad neighborhood
The motel is old but has been maintained. The pool had no water, just dirt. The breakfast was packaged pastries and oranges and coffee. Coffee maker in the room. TV was pretty small. Bed was comfortable and we slept well.Toilet flush was loud. Quiet environment. When we were leaving in the morning daylight we could see the run down neighborhood. There is a dog park next door. McDonalds and Jack in the box within walking distance. 2 blocks off Hwy 95, close to I-40.
Needs renovation
This well located facility in Needles, California is in need of serious attention. The overall building is acceptable, but individual rooms are not being properly cleaned, the furniture is old and in disrepair, and there appears to be a general lack of comprehensive maintenance. The bath and toilet areas need the most urgent attention! There has been some effort to paint, and "brighten-up" this area, but basic drywall, flooring and caulking repair have been omitted. A sloppily applied coat of paint is not a correction for deep dirt and structural deficiency.
Stay at you own risk
On a recent road trip, we booked this hotel because it was pet friendly. That’s about the only positive thing I can say. This place is a dump in every way. Our first room was not cleaned. The beds were made and there were towels, but the floor was sticky and surfaces weren't clean. We asked for another room, and it was just as bad. I don't mean dusty or cheap towels,I mean urine on the toilet, food residue on counters, trash, etc. There is NO way this hotel is practicing COVID protocols. If we hadnt just driven 9 hours, we would have found another hotel, and it was late. Hotel clerk did agree to reverse charges, and gave us new sheets so we could be sure they were clean.
Decent for the price I guess?
For the money, you can find a better place to stay. Overall condition is rundown. You look for thorough cleaning, especially during Covid. But to find the last guests lunchable in the refrig and mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, just tells you they did not wipe anything down nor thoroughly clean the room before my stay with my children.
