Good view over the city
Large rooms, comfortable bed. There is no air conditioning in very hot weather in summer. The rooftop bar offers great views of the surroundings during breakfast. A good selection of drinks at the rooftop bar.
Nice hotel
Comfortable place to enjoy, it is nice place and cheap hotel. I got good rest and slept well. Breakfast room let to see the view of the whole towm and castle ! I would offer to visit this place. Close to Mannheim.
The views are the best thing about this hotel
My room, a double was clean and the bed was comfortable. I was quite high on the 6th floor with non-stop views East across the town and into the country. Rooms on the other side of the hotel would have spectacular views up the vineyards and onto the mountains behind which lies France. Breakfast on a Sunday was interesting. The restaurant is on the top 8th floor with those spectacular views in all directions. So what do many many burgers of Neustadt do on a Sunday? Thy go to the Panorama hotel for breakfast ! I was part of a group of 10 and if we had not reserved a table we could have struggled to have breakfast! The breakfast buffet was always re-stocked and needed to be done as they had multiple covers per table. Across from us was a table of at least 12 people which changed twice while I was having breakfast, nobody was a hotel guest. But breakfast was well organised with friendly helpful staff.
Good value
This was our basis for a trip to the wine region Mittelhaardt just north of Neustadt. The hotel is not much to look at, but easy to reach by car and foot. Reception was cheery and friendly. The double rooms are very large and well maintained, even though a little dated from the decoration. The rooms facing West can get hot during the day and there is no air conditioning. On that side is a loud street, too, so better ask for a room facing the parking lot. On the roof top is a very nice bar, highly recommended. We didn't take breakfast which seemed expensive and went to the Blank Roast coffee shop down the road. Altogether, the hotel is very good value, if you choose the right room.
Pleasant and Comfortable
Nice modern hotel with large, well equipped rooms. Service at the reception desk and in the restaurant (breakfast) was very good. Buffet breakfast a bit pricey at 15.00 Euros per person but the choice of breakfast items was good. The view from the hotel rooms, the breakfast area (on the 8th floor!) was very nice and from the open balcony on that floor breathtaking. The only downside was the limited amount of parking.
