Dog mistreatments
The owners have a dog that remains all day long in a kind of underground, alone, in the dark. I spent 3 days in the hotel and the dog didn’t see the light of the day! That’s awful!!! I’ve seen other reviews on apps and there are more complaints about the issue!!
Worst stay in turkey
We stayed here for two nights with our 4 year old. They didn’t bother to service our apartment at all during these 2 days. When asked, they replied that the staff forgot! The bathroom is filthy. The water from the tub drains across the whole bathroom. The sheets and towels had holes in them. The utensils in our kitchenette were quite dirty. The overall cleanliness level in the room was bad. The staff didn’t make too much effort. Breakfast was also nothing to boast about. It was the worst among all our 5 accommodations in turkey. Our advice- stay elsewhere.
Just to sleep
I didn’t like this hotel at all. The shower and the whole bathroom was disgusting, broken and dirty. WiFi did not reach our room at all. Breakfasts were not good at all. There are much better options in Göreme for same money.
Horrible!!
They are taking advantage from your hard sitiations and they charge us double!! also breakfast is sucks! They wont clean the room and change towels bathroom is also bad. Çok kötü gitmeyin! İnsanların zor durumlarından faydalanıp son anda iki katı ücret çıkarıyorlar. Kahvaltısı çok kötü. Duşa kabin duş alırken üzerinize dökülüyor odayı temizleyip havşuları değiştirmiyorlar.
Great Location, Breakfast with Balloon View
We read previous positive feedback from Tripadvisor and decided to give this place for our stay. Walnut house is located very close to the Goreme bus terminal (2 minutes walking) and many private/car/scooter rental providers (actually its next to the hotel). So It is very convenient if you come to Goreme by public transportation and/or going around Goreme using public/rental transport. Since it is located at the heart of Goreme, it is easy to go to many cafes, restaurants, mini market, and souvenir shop. We pay the lowest room available but it was still nice and comfortable. Hot and cold water at the shower was also reliable. Breakfast was amazing. They have continental and turkish breakfast. The breakfast is located at the upstair terrace facing tens balloon took of that morning. (Plus a cat, too).
