TERRIFIC LITTLE, B AND B
Opinión escrita el 3 de junio de 2022
Little meaning 5 rooms I think, but big on service. You can get a delicious, reasonably priced meal just about any time of the day. The staff couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. The rooms was spacious and the bed very comfortable. My only quibble is that the heating was inadequate and it was a challenge to take a shower as the bathroom was very cold. In addition the big shower head was not working and the valve that mixes hot and cold water seemed to be an either scalding or tepid proposition. There was a shower hand sprayer in the lovely, modern bathroom which also included a jacuzzi! Hanayun’s tomb is walkable as is the new botanical garden across from the tomb complex. En route I stopped at a Sikh temple that apparently feeds 1500/day and is open 24/7. Apparently that is a common thing in India with some places serving way, way more everyday. I wrote this review January, 2019. I have no idea of why it never got published. Great experience.

A quiet and luxurious stay; an oasis retreat amongst the hubub of Delhi
Opinión escrita el 10 de abril de 2022
Wow what a find this place was, a quiet tranquil stay in the heart of Delhi - amazing. I paid extra to get a room with a bath and the room was fabulous, I couldn't get hot water for the tub but didn't have time to ask as I was rushing out, so do ask before you start running a bath. other than that little hiccup everything else was pefect. All the staff were quiet calm, friendly and helpful, Everywhere was spotlessly clean . There is a lovely garden and my room had a balcony overlooking a little park. The bathroom not only had a huge bath but a huge shower too. The bedroom was huge and had every facility you could want, including lovely soft bathrobes. Breakfast is to die for too, heavenly. I will definitely stay here again when in Delhi.

Great location, excellent service, comfortable, central, amazing food. We were collected from the airport. Settled into our room which was spacious, clean and comfortable. Had both evening meals in the restaurant which were delicious. Owners and staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Would recommend GG's as the place to stay to anyone visiting Delhi. Can't wait to go back.
