Good for the price
In my quest to all-nighter to Oklahoma I needed emergency rest for cheap so I booked here. Was a bit sketched at first but the room was clean, bed was comfy. Bathroom was a bit worn but clean. Tv fridge and microwave included and parking is free. Ac blows real cold. For $50 I got much needed rest and a shower to be on my way. Staff was very nice.

Clean and comfortable. The Carlton Ritz if economy hotels. Bee a frequent customer once a year for the past 5 years. Was truly bummed when they closed for a bit. Rooms are clean modernized. A great cable selection for an economy hotel

Second time here. It’s fine but needs some tic especially in the bathroom. The resurfaced tub is peeling. The vanity is falling apart and the patching and painting and is very poor. I’d suggest a new painter! Vinyl wood look floor was clean. Tv works fine. Newer drapes at window. If the trim around the door was done winter and the bathroom fixed up it would be much better
Pleasantly Surprised
Anytime you see prices in this range you don’t expect anything special. However my overnight stay was extremely comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean, bed comfortable and the staff very accommodating. I was so pleased with the value I stayed again 5 days later on my return trip. I will book again without hesitation. It is in a very quiet area away from the Interstate 40 noise. Book with confidence. Just don’t expect a Diamond lounge or Executive Club. Give me a break, for this price you can’t beat it in Santa Rosa NM!
Adequate For What We Paid
The area seemed a bit sketchy, so when we first pulled up, my first reaction was to go elsewhere. But, we had a reservation, and my husband thought it looked fine. I was concerned that there were only 2 other cars in the parking lot, but by the early evening, the lot was full. It was very reasonably priced, and had all of the basic necessities--clean, air-conditioned, reasonably comfy bed, and a basic breakfast. It was over 100 degrees that day, and I was very happy when we came into the room to find the air conditioner had been running, so the room was a very pleasant temperature.
