Needs a total facelift

Lovely lovely staff, great breakfast, fabulous location Suite was beyond dated, worst bed ever as mattress had to have been 20+ years old so sleep was difficult, could see the outside from under door which means drafty and cold, pest deterrent plugged in in kitchen, and it was over $500 for 2 nights. New owners should tear down or replace all kitchens and baths...I bet it was a cool place in the 70's.

Mixed Experience

Perfect location/staff & breakfast. Understandably outdated, esp. cramped bathroom. Cold @ night, even with two thermostats cranked to max. Please let us know when you have remodeled, as we would like to stay again.

terrible beds, run down rooms

Reviewed 3 december, 2021

We spent two nights at this hotel for a total of $400. It was not a great experience. The staff were so nice but the property is run down and in need of updating and repairs. Our beds were terrible. I say beds because after our first night in a room with only heat that couldn't be cooled down they moved us to another room. We literally had to open the windows to cool off in late Nov. and only a few of them actually opened. We staying in room 18 the first night and were moved to room 15 for the next. (supposedly an upgrade but really the only difference was in the size of the bed). Again, the staff were lovely but the property is not. Such a shame cuz it could be a cool little place with renovation. The breakfast in the morning is about what you expect at a Hampton or holiday Inn

Pueblo Bonito Bed and Breakfast, Santa Fe

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending three nights at Pueblo Bonito Santa Fe. What a joy and pleasure we experience at this wonderful B&B. Our room was beautiful and welcoming, full of Southwest Charm. Breakfast was outstanding, never would have believe having Tamales and Green Chili Stew would be so tasty. I want to also point out the customer service was unbelievable. Cat is exceptional in making guest feel at home and welcome. She is a jewel. Lastly this location is so convenient to walking to the downtown area and local restaurants. Highly recommend Pueblo Bonito Santa Fe!

A charming B&B in a great location!

Reviewed 15 november, 2021

This charming B&B is not perfect, but its character, location and delicious breakfast makes up for its shortcomings! A definite recommend! PROS: Location was wonderful for walking to area points of interest, shops and restaurants. Room was more like a “little home” than a standard hotel room, which gave it a much cozier, charming feel. Breakfast was filling and delicious, and the regional fare offered was so much more interesting than your standard “scrambled eggs and sausage in a chafing dish” breakfast of chain hotels. So much character in this fun little place! CONS: Bathroom was small and dated, which is understandable in a historic property, but it also often had an unpleasant sewer gas smell coming from the pipes. It was more noticeable if we kept the bathroom door shut for several hours. There was also a gap under the front door that let cold air in, but the room did have a cloth stopper to place in front of it, which worked well enough for fall.
