Our New Must Stay in the Big Easy
We had never heard of Cambria as a hotel chain until it popped up on a travel ad. The price to stay within walking distance to the French Quarter seemed very low, so we booked, not knowing what we would experience. What we experienced was a very modern, chic, comfortable, quiet hotel in the warehouse district. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Ian at the front desk, we were impressed. We were given a warm welcome and things only went up from there. The room was spacious and the king bed comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to so many restaurants and attractions. There is no need to rent a car if staying here (although the valet service is quick and friendly at $40 extra per night). Uber from the airport and you would be set for all the best things New Orleans offers within easy walking distance. We particularly enjoyed discovering the many restaurants and bars close by. We are not sure when we will return to New Orleans again, but we do know for certain we will be staying at the Cambria.
Awesome Hotel!
This hotel is awesome. The decor is perfect (it’s exactly how I would design a hotel...or my house lol), rooms are spacious and comfortable, location is fantastic (unless you’re a gambling addict, Harrah’s is a block away), and staff is super friendly. I’ll definitely stay here again.
Great stay!
Great hotel and location. Wonderful decor. Great view from our window. They had a bar in the evening. The rooms were nice and the beds were soft. The pillows were a little lumpy and the cover on the bed was very thin.
Awesome
Ryan B was so helpful and polite. Great guy, was able to point us in the direction for everything we were looking for.nice to stop and chat with. Hotel was beautiful, love the decore! glad this was the spot on our trip (11 states) we were able to stay two night.
Wonderful Staff!
I thoroughly enjoyed myself at the Cambria! Everyone who works there is amazing. We really hit it off with Ian at the front desk who started my birthday trip right by giving me a safety pin and dollar bill to pin to my shirt so everyone knew it was my birthday. I ended up making 5 bucks! I’ll have to go back every year to try and beat my record and I’ll definitely be staying here again. It’s so close to everything; we never had to use a car. Tommy, the valet, gave us some great places to eat on top of the list Ian made for us. Bryan kept our luggage safe and sound downstairs when our checkout was way before our flight (they gave us an extra two hours to check out as well) so we could hit the streets one last time and not worry about lugging it all around. It was overall a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to go back and say hi to everyone again.
