More about the hotel
Clean and comfortable stay
Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Location was great for Canal St access and other walkable areas for restaurants and bars. Dogs stay free! Self parking across the street for $30. Nothing at all to complain about!
Wonderful getaway
We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was. It was very clean. They were pet friendly with $0 dollar pet fee which is very rare. The room only cost us $105 with tax and fees. Very reasonable. We were only 2 blocks from the French Quarter and enjoyed the easy walk. Valet parking ended up being right in front of the hotel so once we parked our truck it stayed right in front during our stay. We could even see it from the room. The room was not very sound proof and we could hear our neighbors and people walking in the hall and on the street. But, you don’t expect to have much peace and quiet in N.O. If you want more peace and quiet ask for a room off the street. Wish I had thought of that and I usually do when staying in the heart of the French Quarters but since we were out of FQ I didn’t think about. But it is a big city and has all the big city noises. The front desk clerk was very sweet and helpful and assured us that most of N.O. Is dog friendly and they were. We were able to get our 10 pound shi-poo into every courtyard we enquired about and into some stores. This may have been due to being in covid and restaurants and stores are more lenient. It was a great getaway from daily life.
Great stay. Great staff.
My family and I stayed at the Magnolia New Orleans Hotel over the Labor Day weekend. The stay was great, clean and peaceful. The staff was excellent. Especially Lawdell W. & Janise C. they both went above and beyond to make my family’s stay great. They gave us tips on parking, places to eat, and much more to aid in a great trip. Thanks again. P.S. you may see people complain about parking but what they fail to mention is you are in the downtown area. All that exist is street public parking parking garages. The surrounding hotels have the same issue.
Beautiful hotel & AMAZING staff!
I just can not say enough nice things about the staff at Magnolia! Molly helped me book my entire family there for our wedding and went out of her way to assist us with special needs and budget considerations. She was attentive and always in contact with us. Cynthia and Kyle were so friendly and helpful during our entire stay, we hated to leave them. Cynthia really made sure to check in with the entire family and was so kind to all of us. Jamise went out of her way (literally walking outside lol!) to check on me as a bride and ask if there was anything she could do to help, and it meant the world to me. The recent renovations at the hotel are gorgeous, and they make sure to keep it sparkling clean! We can't wait to go back!
Mardi Gras Girls Trip
Was greeted with all smiles as I tried checking in early the day of the Parade. Cynthia made it happen within the hour. It’s close to Bourbon Street W/amazing restaurants close by. Cynthia and Jamise made sure everything was going good 2 days into our trip VIA text. The room was clean and a nice size.
