Fingal Bay

We’ve been coming here for 10 years and love it. Accomodation is first class, clean, tidy and modern. Staff are always friendly and certainly know what customer service and professionalism is all about. The resort is always kept in tip-top condition. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Port Stephens Very close to beach and all amenities.

We just completed a five night stay and Seaside Holiday Resort did not disappoint. This was our second visit and the first summer visit. The 2 bed units are clean, comfortable, well maintained. The grounds, bbqs and pool area are also similarly well maintained and clean with very friendly staff. I was also surprised how quiet it was even with full occupancy for the last week of the school holidays. Great coffee across the road at the surf club and beautiful Fingal beach right across the road. The recent negative reviews were obviously cribbed and in no way reflect on De-Anne and her hard working staff.

I am so shocked to read the previous critical reviews of this amazing resort and of its wonderful staff. I have been here with my family many times over the past 8 years and can assure you that you would absolutely not be disappointed. The units, facilities and grounds are very clean, very comfortable, very well equipped and very well maintained. All units are located close to bbqs, pool, beach and laundry facilities. They are very private and spacious with large verandahs. All units have a large TV, Wifi, air-conditioning, comfy lounges, very comfortable beds, large fridge, modern stove, oven, and microwave, large shower and clean bed and bath linen. The resort is so close (3 min walk) to one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia. Fingal Bay is the backdrop to the famous 2006 Tourism Australia advertisement "Where Bloody Hell Are Ya". The gardens are beautiful and full of bird life. Staff are very welcoming, discreet and have always accommodated all our needs. It is suited to the young and old and I know of many families who return to holiday here year after year. It is also very well priced.

Worst hotel I've stayed in hot water constantly running out the rooms were dust central.Beds were extremely uncomfortable, might as well sleep on a blow up mattress would of been a lot more comfortable. No shelfs In the bedroom cupboard cloth were left in our bags. The environment were very racist . I have honestly never been anywhere and met such rude two faced staff. We have left the dirty towels on the last day hung up in the shower and we were told that we are very dirty and we are not welcome back next year because the room was dirty. Will definitely not be staying here ever again.

I’ve never been more disgusted in my life. Most racist, unwelcoming and disrespectful management I’ve come across. Will never been staying at this place ever again. Dirty rooms, rats everywhere and double standards among different nationalities. It is so disappointing as we were so excited to begin our year with a family trip and they have ruined that for us all. I would not recommend anyone to stay there, unless you’d like to sleep with dirty rats.
