Front desk had a mountain of dirty sheets in the tiny space, we got to the room, bathroom was dirty. Overworked housekeeping slathered bleach all over b r, smell was toxic. Just about the worst place we ever stayed. This form doesn’t let me put correct date....
Can't stay away
Staying in a motel during covid 19 could cause some challenges--- but not here. Everything spotlessly clean and sanitary. The restaurant temporarily serving takeouts only, please check for times. No breakfast available, but coffee is excellent! Always speedy check in, and check out. Will keep coming back!
Back again
Company keeps sending me back to Livingston County for business. Always stay at the Rodeway Inn. Always a speedy check in. Steeled in room in under 5 minutes. Room is always clean and quiet. Took a while to get room warmed uo, but once warm, it stayed that way. Leisure's dining room, onsite, is always a great place to meet some locals. Had a very good nights sleep, and out by 7:00 AM to work. Will be back!
Bugs
Got bug bites after staying one night, my husband's bed was fine but my bed was not. The room smelled of coffee big time, when we opened the door. The shower has no spot for the soap to go and the floor in the shower is slippery..I ended up seeing a doctor for the red itchy spots for creams I have like 15 bites. We stayed at this hotel in the spring and had no problem. We stayed here because it is close to see our only grandson. We traveled two and a half hours to go there, and just wanted a good nights sleep.
Wonderful establishment
Inn is quite competent. Basic rooms, gentle pricing, with a touch of class. Don't let the Rodeway fool you. This place keeps up with more expensive inn for quality. Room is quiet. I was cool enough to let windows open all night. Traffic sounds not a concern. Bed and sofa both comfy. Plenty of hot water. WiFi works well. Restaurant on site is very nice, very popular with the locals also. Discounted breakfast available. Did not partake, due to eating too much, too late the night before. Geneseo is about 15 minutes away, and is easy travel Rochester metro area. Lake Conesus very close.
