Wonderful Staycation
It was a lovely experience in the heart of NYC! There were many food options around and the hotel staff were nice and helpful. We had a great room that was very spacious for it being a one queen bed. Would come here again!
AMAZING STAY!!
I absolutely could not go another second without taking a moment to share my experience at Executive Hotel LeSoleil. I arrived from Ohio to visit with my daughter who lives in the city. Our hope was to enjoy a fun mom/daughter weekend. The day I arrived, my daughter got sick with mono and it got very serious, very quickly. I had to extend my stay two different occasions after two visits to the ER with my daughter. I was scared and overwhelmed. With each adjustment to my stay, your staff was AMAZING!! Each time I had to extend my stay, they made sure they took care of it all. Once we learned it was mono, they moved us into a room that we could separate a little more, so she could rest, and I could work. Whatever I needed; they were there. I can’t explain how comforting it was to have the entire hotel staff make sure we were well taken care of. They were truly the kindest people ever. Whether it was a food recommendation or suggestions on how to treat mono, they were there to help me. I am the executive director of the Chagrin Valley Chamber and it’s my job to recommend businesses, so I am constantly focused on customer service and I must tell you, this hotel's staff goes over, over and beyond. They became like family to me. I’d like to think I’m special and they just did it for me, but I observed their kindness with every customers throughout my stay. The entire staff I interacted with were amazing especially Evanny and Yaira! With my daughter living here, prior to the pandemic, I would come and visit often, and when this is over and it safe again to travel freely, I have now found “my” hometel!! Thank you everyone at Executive Hotel Le Soleil for taking care of me. I will be back, and I promise to recommend your hotel to everyone who asks!!! On top of all of this... rooms were so clean, so spacious and so comfortable.
Disappointing
We tried to reach out to ask about parking. They were very rude about it. And said they could not help. Even though they have a cooperation with someone a few doors down... could have ordered with parking online. The order said breakfast included, since the restaurant were closed due to COVID we wondered how the set up would be now. They were just being very rude, saying there is no breakfast included now, nothing about any refund discount, or even coupons. What surprised me was that there were no apologies or understanding of our question. Just a very rude lady answering briefly and hanging up. Also the room we received is not the same type as the one we ordered. We looked at the room type we received online too, but decided for another, disappointed they could not give us the right one. A lot of this is due to rude personnel, but still one very nice guy in the lobby that could help with WiFi logon on apple devices, as the WiFi does not auto direct to the logon page. I also overheard him explaining about the breakfast in a much more polite, understanding and apologetic way. Not recommending.
Excellent choice for location!
Pros: This hotel is in the perfect location in Manhattan. Especially for Christmas! Close to Macy's, Empire State Bldg, Times Square and not far from Sak's and their famous Christmas light show! Duane Reed was close by to get extra snacks for the room. During COVID its good to have backup items for the room. Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Cons: View was suppose to be "City view", and it was not. It was a view of the building next door and an alley. Not a nice view really.
Incredible experience
My family and I had an incredible stay over the weekend. The staff were absolutely amazing throughout our whole stay. The property and grounds are absolutely spectacular. We hope to visit again soon. It's a very special place.
