Amazing, Relaxing & Safe Stay!!!
A few weeks ago I stayed at the Gansevoort Meatpacking for a one night stay and it was fantastic! Upon my arrival I was greeted by a lovely staff member who was happy to help me check in, and was very patient with me as I was trying to gather my things to get to my room. She was pleasant and very courteous. On my way to the room I could tell that the staff was diligently keeping the hotel clean, and was very reassuring with each guest that everyone's health and safety was number 1. Once I got to my room is so relaxing with amazing views, and really very comfortable. I felt really good and at ease as it was the first place I stayed outside of my own home during this pandemic. It was so peaceful and exactly what I needed. The room was just perfect. I would recommend to everyone to stay there! It was really a great night. As a mom of a 3 year old during this time, I desperately needed to get away and I could not have asked for a better stay!
Fabulous experience!
My partner and I stayed at Gansevoort Meatpacking and were absolutely mind blown! Their new renovations were stunning and well thought out. The ambience lived up to the beautiful Chelsea neighborhood, but was completely warm and approachable at the same time. Absolutely loved our room with its modern, hip design and literally most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. The rooftop bar alone (heated and covered in winter) was worth the stay! Delicious cocktails, great vibe, and THE VIEWS! I also can’t say enough about the staff! Beyond accommodating. Covid precautions and sanitation were taken seriously by all, which was very comforting. Overall - WILL BE BACK.
Best Stay Ever ❤️
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff are all friendly & it’s in an amazing location. Comfortable accommodation. ❤️ If you’re looking for a beautiful & extravagant hotel... this is the one!!! The food at The Chester downstairs is amazing, too. (The restaurant connected to The Gansevoort). It’s peaceful in the lobby and lively at night, if you choose to experience those parts. I still can’t get over the view of the entire city from my room. It truly made me forget about the pandemic. I would absolutely stay here again!! Also, it is extremely CLEAN. Which is a big deal for me. Thank you Gansevoort. ❤️❤️❤️
My Daughters 16th Birthday
From the moment we booked we knew this was going to be an amazing weekend. Given our Covid world...Their safety protocols were shared and properly observed while being made to feel welcomed and safe throughout. From arrival on Saturday afternoon the reception manager Paul checked us in and we ushered to 2 amazing interconnecting rooms that have been newly renovated with all the latest Tech and interconnectivity you could wish for. They were state of the art with everything wifi and blue tooth connected. My daughter got a personal Birthday note of welcome from the GM and a very cute happy Birthday welcome from "Hey Google"... she was chuffed! We went down for a late lunch and our server Paige took great care of us as we were in a hurry. Our girls wanted to go shopping and explore Chelsea Market before heading up to Rockefeller to see the Tree and then out to Zuma for the perfect Birthday Dinner. We returned around 11pm and my youngest discovered the "Mirror" and started a sparring workout until midnight. It is apparently the newest and hottest fitness amenity which seems to be fitted as standard in every room. Next morning we went walkabout and met Jose who was super friendly and proudly showed us the spectacular rooftop heated pool. We also got a glimpse of The rooftop lounge and bar that is undergoing what looks like a very exciting renovation...this will be the place to be in early 2021. Then went back out exploring [aka shopping] my daughters thought they hit the lotto. Finally to top off an amazing Birthday weekend we managed to snag a highly sought after brunch reservation at the renowned Pastis. We sat outdoors and had an fantastic brunch. Then unfortunately it was time to come crashing back to reality and catch the train home to Connecticut. Cannot recommend the Gansevoort more highly for their hospitality, super refurbed rooms and cool vibes throughout in the heart of the meatpacking with some much to do.....Covid or no covid try get there!
Great service from Paul Li, Front Office Manager
We had a wonderful stay at the Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC...however the best part is that even after our stay, Paul Li went out of his way to help us (he needed to send something to the UK). He was incredibly responsive and helpful - it was really appreciated. Thank you, Paul!
