I am so sad to write this. We have stayed at the Incentra for over 15 years and we have always been so happy! The owners have always been so kind and helpful. We were so excited to bring our kids this time. We were there last week it was a very different experience. Upon check in, we were met by a very hostile and aggressive woman. She did not greet us or welcome us, she actually acted like she was very annoyed that were there and needed help to check in. Before we arrived, we were told they could provide a roll away bed for our suite. When I asked about the bed, she got angry and very annoyed that I had asked about it. There was no apology for the mistake or effort to come up with a solution. They did offer us an extra room for overflow which was appreciated, but when she came to tell us that she was still very short, aggressive and rude. The facility was not as clean as it has been in the past and it seems like its lost some of its spark. There was a very strong sewage odor. Its kind of crazy to me that as a business owner, you would allow this one person who seemed to have some mental heath issues be the first face and personality we encounter at your hotel . We won't be coming back, which makes me sad cause it such a cool spot.
terrible place, good location, total disrespect of guests, door of toilet doesn't close

very dark room, also no light near bed, no available staff and when finally someone answered me he said the there is nothing to do with the door of toilet that doesn't close and we should accept the noise and smell, very old furniture so impossible to open drawers, no value at all for the price besides location, strongly recommend to stay away from this "hotel" and the staff

Incentra Guest House is a hidden gem in the heart of Greenwich Village. Very clean with attentive staff. Vincent was very gracious- even procured a heating pad when needed after a long day of biking and walking. This is not the place for you if you’re looking for shiny surfaces and glitzy interiors or ultra luxurious. It’s clean, comfortable, with all the necessities in an almost 200 year old building. We will be back.
Home away from Home :)

Great place to stay if you want to feel at home. Location is perfect, super nice neighbourhood and just a few blocks away from the Hudson River. Vincent makes sure you have everything you need at all times :) Stayed for weeks and will keep coming.
Best place in the village!

Wonderful experience! Great room, it felt like our own little home in the city. Staff was great and so welcoming. We had a fantastic time in the area. Safe and fun part of the village with small village feeling with tons to do within walking distance. Easy and fast to get a Uber at front door.
