So terrible do not book! Bloodstained bed!

The room was not clean and the sheets were dirty and crusty. No housekeeping on site so we had to change the bedding ourselves. When sheets were stripped there was blood on the mattress pad and mattress. No other room was available so we did not stay the night. Still have not received a response from the hotel or a refund.
Terrible, unclean and shady business

The room was so uncleaned that we had to leave. Manager was no where to be fund and they refuse to issue a refund. Just TERRIBLE! Do not book. Sheets were stained, floor with leftover objects… Total nightmare.
Really bad experience…

We’ve stayed here in the past but this hotel has really changed for the worse. Bed linens were disgusting - no top sheet, just a questionable duvet. No towels in the room; we had to go to the desk and ask for them. Will not return.

Do Not Stay Here!!! Very sketchy. Website is not accurate at all! Some strange guy was in the "lobby" just hanging out. Anyone off the street could walk in at any moment and our room was the first one, on the first floor. Terrible smell, Room was beyond tiny. NO TOWELS at all in the room. Waited at front desk for quite some time to inquire about towels and was told he would bring them later. No one every answers the phone. I immediately booked another hotel and got out of there.

Great location, two blocks from Union Station and "R" train, which takes you right into Manhattan, or Coney Island, depending on which way you want to head. Lots of Brooklyn landmarks nearby. Make no mistake about the gritty urban atmosphere, but it is also surprisingly young-family-oriented, with tree-lined side streets of Park Slope brownstones. Dining option run the gamut from upscale to a bit seedy. So if you are comfortable in this type of urban environment, the Union Hotel is a terrific value. There is a kitchen in the lower floor with an outdoor courtyard, which guests can use.
