This HoJos is trying to keep the hotel open while renovating portions of the hotel, or something like that. My room was partially updated; the decorations and bed were great, while the window was ajar with a flimsy bar blocking entry. The bathroom didn’t seem to be updated at all. Halls were woefully worn and shabby. ‘Breakfast” was a granola bar, coffee, and OJ…but sorry, the juice machine doesn’t work either. It’s sad to see Howard Johnsons fallen so low.

If I could give this less than one star I would. The lobby as well the room smelled like a stale ashtray although it was supposed to be non-smoking. The hair dryer was missing from the bathroom and the towel bar next to the sink as well as the toilet tissue holder were both broken. If anything else had been available I would have forfeited what I paid and moved on but everything else in town was booked. I'm not sure a complete overhaul would make much difference in the condition of this hotel, it's beyond its prime and then some. It certainly does not do any justice to the "by Wyndham" moniker.

This hotel was poorly run and did not have basics such as additional towels Misrepresented they had breakfast when they had bare minimum. Got locked out of room . Fridge was old and rusted as was safe deposit box

Badly in need of repair and additional staff. Staff was great, but problems like very low water pressure, a stopped up toilet that we had to buy a plunger to unstop (no plunger available on property or extra staff to see about it), and abosolutely no breakfast even though it was advertised were some of the issues.

An hotel to avoid

I dont recall having been in a place so depressing. No proper greeting upon arrival from the clerk in a very faded and tired looking lobby. Although the room was clean and the carpet brand new with a comfortable bed; the curtains were falling apart and the only lounge chair had it fabric teared apart. The washroom was clean but the toilet was loosing and wasting water therfore noisy. I understand that Covid has change the definition of continental breakfast but I dont beleive a granola bar and a coffee is a proper replacement. A bottle of juice and a fruit may very well complete the short and new definition.
