Really nice place in Nice

Reviewed 30 december, 2021

Very well-located hotel with very friendly receptionists and restaurant staff. Big, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Close to the Promenade. Place surrounded by dozens of pubs, bars, restaurants. And garden with parrots and small pool. Nice place in Nice!

Location is very well, rooms are quite big and nice decoration. Breakfast is top, and restaurant has a fine and update kitchen. Personnel are pleasant doing very well with Covid 19 sanitares rules. Christams dinner was excellent

Central beautiful hotel

We found the hotel delightful with very clear instructions where to park our car. Beautiful garden, great room, and very close to the old town and the sea. Will definitely return. Did not have breakfast as we had an early plane to catch. Polite informative staff, helpful and friendly

Deceptive marketing

Reviewed 1 november, 2021

The images of the hotel are lovely. I’d love to stay at that hotel, but it’s not the Windsor Hotel. Those images are hard core exaggeration and selected to attract people to book, but it is not a just reflection of reality and at all what we experienced. In hindsight, I regret not taking pictures to attach to this post so that you could judge for yourself. The hotel is heavily run down at best, it’s clean, but very dated and extremely far from stylish. It needs thorough remodeling to achieve what is portrayed in these images. Or how about just accurate pictures and a price that is reasonable for the sad old place. We felt incredibly deceived. We understood when we arrived that it is an art hotel. Which could be cool. Unfortunately we didn’t appreciate the unmarked “art” installations where porn started to play in the speakers of the closet. I suggest looking for another hotel. Had they not been deceptive with images, we would have not had this reaction.

Good reasonable priced Hotel

Reviewed 16 october, 2021

This was our second time at this hotel. We had a premium room on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the gardens. I would highly recommend booking one of these rooms rather than one overlooking the road. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We found most of the staff very friendly and helpful although we did come across one or two that came across as rather blunt. We included breakfast in our stay. It was ok but the so called hot food on the buffet was only lukewarm and on two occasions we had to ask for more bacon and more orange juice even though staff were just standing around. We had dinner on one night, that was not good very bland. Overall a good hotel to stay in, very central to visit Nice but suggest you do not eat there. Plenty of good cafes and restaurants out there. This hotel has a small swimming pool and is a short walk to the Promenade de Anglaise. Please see my other reviews
