Excellent Despite Covid!
A great holiday - the whole process end-to-end, from last minute change of plans for destination right through to arriving back in the UK it all worked very well. The hotel was clean, well organised for Covid-19 considerations, and functioning as you’d expect. Jet2 were excellent . Great job under tough conditions. Well done and many thanks 🙏
Great service
Still COVID-19 times but the hotel was starting to ‘open up’. Polite and accomodating staff, and the location is excellent. Room was tiny. It had everything you needed, just very compact. Awesome views of the promenade and sea from my tiny, tiny balcony. Breakfast was okay. The service was superb. Special mention of Vladimar, who has to be the most polite waiter i have met. Well done and thanks to all for the enjoyable breakfast. Hotel price was reasonable.
Weekend with the famile
We spent an amazing weekend in Nice at this hotel myself and my family, what I can say is it was brilliant and the ocean view was great from the top floor of the hotel. Lovely staff, royal breakfast, 100% clean.
Gorgeous Beach Retreat
My boyfriend and I just stayed here during Carnaval and this hotel was perfect. We fell asleep every night listening to the waves below our balcony and it was an easy walk to all festivities. Our bathroom was American style, with a large shower and double sinks, and the provided toiletries were nice. Our room was very large and extremely comfortable and we both slept very well every night. The only reasons I did not give this hotel an "excellent" review were that breakfast was just ok compared to similar hotels I've stayed at and that use of the pool is not included in the cost of the room and is quite a bit extra. Besides that everything else was wonderful and I would absolutely stay here again next time I am in Nice.
Very ordinary
This was, no doubt, once a grand seafront hotel. Now it is part of the Best Western franchise, and is a typical Best Western place - OK, but ordinary and dull. The bar was over-priced, trading on its sea view. The buffet breakfast was also over-priced, offered cold scrambled egg and only one choice of (rubbery) cheese to go with the cooked meats. Croissants were limp. Room clean and comfortable, but the lights went out as soon as the room "key" was removed from the switch (rather than after a short delay), leaving one fumbling in the dark. Service impersonal.
