Nice location, comfortable hotel

There's a kind of old-fashioned glamour about this hotel, a lot of art deco features seemed to have been retained when it was renovated. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. With a little TLC it would have merited five out of five, but perhaps it's all scheduled for maintenance over the winter. Breakfast was good if somewhat unexciting, but that might be different during the summer when there are more guests staying. All in all a very good stay and great value for money.

Perfect located little hotel in a picture perfect little town. We visited off season and effectively Niederbronn is closed at 8pm, even on a Saturday night. The hotel staff were helpful, friendly, and the breakfast was superb. Great value for money.
A great place to stay

A nice Hotel just renovated. In April , May 2019 will be a Pool and Sauna in Service! Looking forward to that. Great breakfast buffet for being in France! The location is near by the charming center of the village and a casino. Even for tours in the nearby area it’s just great!
Completely outdated, poor maintenance

This hotel may have been 4* once, but today it is definitely not. The whole hotel is completely outdated, here and there they tried to put some new furniture but the place really needs a good renovation. There are smelly carpets full of stains everywhere. Rooms look like they haven’t been properly cleaned since the cold war (daily superficial cleaning is fine, it’s more about floor and ceiling and walls etc.). Our shower head was broken. Worst of all were the windows, they probably haven’t been cleaned in like ever - see photo. Breakfast was ok in terms of offer - pretty much what you expect in a local hotel. Quality of the food and drinks was low. The hotel staff was friendly but definitely during breakfast you notice they could use an extra pair of hands. Our room was spacious with a very nice view over the town and the nature around. But young people, be aware: Niederbronn-les-bains is a town for old people. A lovely town, yes, but filled with old people. Everywhere. It’s Benidorm near the Rhine.
One night stay on our motorbike trip

On arrival, even though I made the booking, I wasn't on the checking in list!!! There was no restaurant, as we had travelled more than 250 miles by motorbike and very hungry, we were told to go into the village, all the restaurants were closed, I was told there was secure parking for our motorbikes, it was in the car park!!, breakfast was way under par....
