We were so delighted with our stay at the Enchanted Manor, we stayed 2 nights but hope to come back longer next time. It was perfect. Peta, your host is a warm and friendly woman, genuinely caring about each of her guests and the business' ethos. It is obvious straightaway. BREAKFAST: Wonderful coffee made to your preference, cheerful morning faces, the young man and Peta’s niece are just lovely. There is a choice to order à la carte tasty and healthy food, all made with love and served in the delightfully pretty conservatory. The fruit juice is exquisitely fresh and the fruit salad divine, and were my personal favourite as I eat very little compared to my hungry man who enjoyed all the other bits very much! ROOM/GARDENS: The gardens are lovely and quaint. Our ‘Candlelight’ room was very large and quiet, with comfy four poster bed and mattress. It had a separate small lounge with sofa / tv. Bathroom was full of character with fluffy towels. We did not have time to use the separate bath sadly (epsom salt & bubble bath provided). There are some lovely cosy sofas to be explored in the conservatory & library rooms downstairs, on a cold wet day reading a book or playing board games there sound just as ideal to me :) AREA: The nearby area is superb and unspoilt, hilly, wonderful walks to be had all the way down to the lighthouse where there is an amazing fusion beach restaurant (we ate there twice). Or the very nearby pub serving food also. HIKE: We walked from hotel all the way to the beach town Ventnor, an amazing hike along coastline and shaded paths, beautiful houses to look at and a botanic garden. (ca 15km hike). WILDLIFE: Thanks to Peta’s recommendation, we got to observe quite up close 3 badgers eating their evening nut feast in the hotel gardens around 9pm. That was a treat! They also have red squirrels and bird feeders. Thank you for an amazing short stay and the human warmth so precious especially now and we will definitely come back on our next Isle of Wight visit.
Our wonderful break at Enchanted Manor .

We stayed here for a few nights on our holiday to the Isle of Wight and fell in love with the hotel. The interiors and atmosphere are simply spellbinding and there is a clear attention to detail, the hotel also is very focused on sustainability and the environment (using recycled and zero waste toiletries) which is something we really appreciated. The family that are currently run the Enchanted Manor are so lovely and helpful, they have loads of great recommendations and are super friendly. Furthermore the breakfasts are a real rarity in the island, as they are all plant based and use local ingredients; we particularly liked the crumpets and chia pudding! All in all it was a fantastic stay only made better by such wonderful hosts and we would love to return at some point in the future :)
My wife birthday surprise

I booked here after here after seeing pictures and reviews which were all positive. Once we arrived we were greeted by peta and showed around the manor. We both loved the place and the family and other guests were so friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and so quiet. The breakfast was served in the side conservatory with flowers hanging from the ceiling and over looking the beautiful garden, and was lucky to see red squirrels. The breakfast was always delicious and during the breakfast the hosts would come over and laugh and joke ask what we were up to could they get us anything else, it was always positive energy which we both loved. The first night we were invited to meet other guests and hosts for drinks, this was amazing and everyone got on so well we really enjoyed this. On the day of my wife’s birthday Peta delivered her some gifts to are room which was so nice and special we both really appreciated this. The parking here was fine and never had a problem and the area was so quiet and felt happy and safe. I can say when we visit the Isle of Wight again I’m going to book here again I now only want to stay here. The manor is a very special place and on are last day we were asked to leave hand prints on the wall which we did, now we will always be part of here now. I would highly recommend perfect stay

Just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay at the Enchanted Manor. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with open arms by Peta and her family. The room - a superior suite called Moonlight, was even more spacious than we imagined, with beautiful sea views and a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities and a tv and DVD player. The vegan/vegetarian breakfasts made by Montana were truly excellent - you wouldn’t miss the meat at all! There is so much beautiful artwork in the house and the garden feels peaceful and healing. Walking distance from the beach, a local pub and beach cafe but still quiet and relaxing. Would highly recommend for friends, couples and solo travellers - you will be well taken care of!
