Pros: Good location. Friendly staff, mostly. Large rooms. Free parking. Cons: No breakfast. Bad smell in elevator. Barking dogs at front desk. Hard bed. Cleaning needs more attention to detail, including the lobby. TV remote doesn't work from the bed. Can be noisy. Nong Khai unfortunately has a need for clean, full-service hotels. There isn't much to choose from in terms of standards you will find in Bangkok or even Udon Thani.

I used this hotel as a base to see the rest of Nong Khai. It is located near the town centre and walking distance from the Mekong River. The staff are extremely nice, and helped us with various travelling itineraries to see more of the province. Would strongly recommend this family-run business.

I stayed 4 nights at the hotel and found the stsff to be friendly and helpful. I stayed on the 4th floor at 700Baht per night. The room was spacious and some English channels on the tv. There is no tea or coffee making facilities in the room which would be handy if there was. I will certainly stay there again

The White Inn, personifies the term 'centrally located', as far as bars, pubs, spas, accommodation and restaurants go for city of Nong Khai. There is so much choice for drinking, entertainment and dinning, literally on your door step (see my YouTube), here. Customer service was first class, as I enjoyed commentary room upgrade on check-in, as well detailed daily room cleaning, as well as hassle free reception (including on-time wake up calls), throughout my short but sweet, stay. I hope to return to this honest, 3 star Thai hotel ... Isaan style.

I originally booked the hotel on Agoda since I was unable to find a decent listing on air bnb that didn’t look skeptical. I knew this area was affordable based on air bnb prices but I couldn’t believe it was even cheaper. I wanted something that was more private with my own bathroom that had the modern conveniences of what I was use to in the US. I couldn’t believe the prices. One disclaimer is that the actual hotel is smaller than the picture appears and does not look as high class as the picture seems from the outside. However the rooms were huge and very clean according to western standards. I’d pick this place over any holiday inn in the US. The bathrooms were clean and modern and the WiFi was fast. The beds seemed like two twins smushed together to form a gigantic king bed but it still was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and it is located in a very quiet Soi near a few restaurants and bars. It’s within walking distance to a market at the bus terminal.
