Not according to expectations
We expected more from a stadshotell. The room was quite small and nothing which would separate it from an ordinary hotel. Not even small packed toiletries were provided. No kettle for coffee and tea. Very bare room. Breakfast, on the other hand, was in a high ceiling bright and spacious room with a nice view of the water. Social distancing in the covid times was easily arranged. Buffet was with wide assortment, warm and cold, and luxurious. Parking was quite expensive.
Good value for money
First of all, great breakfast, which is hard to find these days. Also extremely helpful front desk staff who helped me with all of my requests in a very professional manner. Pleasant room, albeit a bit small, especially the bathroom. Wanted to go to the gym, but it had very short opening hours in the middle of the day. Had a very pleasant stay, would surely come again.
Pleasant surprise in the North
This hotel was a bit of surprise this far north. It was restored grandeur from times gone by and more luxurious than I am used to on my trips. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean, cozy and quiet. There is a private underground car park, but it is a pity it is not free for guests. As it is both in the centre and on the waterside, it can hardly be beaten for location. Highly recommended!
Great hotel
Fantastic place to stay. Brilliant breakfast, make your own waffles and incredible cloudberry jam! Walking distance to bus/train station - done easily with 8 year old. Everything you need walking distance. Walking on the ice was amazing!!
Is Elite really that great?
Lite for pengene i sammenligning med Quality og Scandic Luleå. The hotel puld in general be more generous with their offering, since it ambitions to be a first class hotel. The rooms is quite small and the blanket small in relation to the bed.
