Didn’t even stay the night.
We reserved the hotel for 10/30 and 10/31/ 2020. We got our room around 1 p.m. and found cob webs in the corners of the room. My wife said I’m not staying in this room, so we changed rooms. The next room had the door jam where the lock should be to be missing so the door wasn’t secure. The heat in the room was at 80 degrees and we couldn’t get the heat shut off. I unplugged the heater and reset it. We left the room to go to lunch and when we came back the room was over 80 degrees again. We had enough and went to the front desk to get our money back and leave. The place is a dump.
Not bad and not great
The hotel is a bit worn down, but the rooms were clean and the front desk staff was kind. The breakfast was not very exciting but it is always nice to have this option. The location is great with easy access to downtown.
Worn and dirty
Spent two nights here in a room that was not very clean. Understand that due to Covid there are restrictions everywhere, but the bathroom was not clean and that had nothing to do with the virus. Room was to include breakfast, coffee in lobby with advertised bagged muffins...all that was bagged were packaged tiny boughten donuts or similar unappealing items. The room rates reflected seasonally, definitely would not recommend or ever stay there again.
Nice place
Lake placid summit hotel has a Great location, free parking, tasty free morning coffee, and is very close to the bars and restaurants. Robin at the front desk was very helpful and answered all of our questions. There is a Mexican restaurant connected and is very convenient.
Ok
Hotel close to walk to everything....reception open all night....however not too clean there was dust on top of wheels of chair the closet carpet looked like it wasn’t vacuumed in years and the hook on the back of the bathroom door even had dust on it the elevator was dirty
