Amazing once again!
This was my second stay I have had with herdshill guest house and they did not disappoint. Room was lovely and clean, tea and coffee facilities in the room also. Full english fresh cooked breakfast with choices of cereals and juices too. Fresh milk given to you every day as when you need it for your tea and coffee. Scott was a lovely host and looked after us very well, very family vibe and homely feel. Also dog friendly! Will definitely stay with you again. Thank you.
Still our home away from home!
Stayed here again -the location is excellent for us as it's close to family and what we want to do. Pulled in and my 3 year old exclaimed Home! He loves all the people there, the toy corner that gets brought to breakfast and that he has space to play. Breakfast is always delicious, beds are comfortable and water is hot.
Welcoming, very helpful staff
We stayed for two nights en route to and from the Highlands this July. Accommodating our two dogs was no problem and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were comfortable and the beds especially so. The breakfasts were fantastic. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!
Very welcoming place
Scott and his family make you feel as though you are one of the family while there, which is very nice. The breakfasts are excellent and the rooms are comfortable. Highly recommended, so don't think twice!
Always love staying here!
Stayed here again while visiting family! The feel of being home hasn't changed with Scott and Maggie taking over. Our son is now 2 and has been staying here since he was a newborn. This time, by the third day he was referring to Herdshill as Home! He was comfortable there and fell in love with Maggie! She was his favourite! Rooms and beds are comfortable with hot water on demand (my partner refers to their showers as the best showers he's had in Scotland with high pressure and hot water). Breakfast is always delicious. This year I needed extra help with some things and they were more than willing to help! We were there over Easter and they went the extra mile in getting my son an Easter Egg! Will see them again next year!
