We will not be going back

This resort has many amenities and can be enticing for people, especially large families to stay here but it has more cons than pros.
The first thing, you cannot get a luggage cart to bring your things to your room on your own. You must use their valet service and tip them. Luckily, there are six of us so we only had to make two trips up to the 10th floor but it took us an hour from the time we got to the resort to the time we got everything unloaded because we were waiting on the elevator from the parking garage and again on the elevator into the resort. We are seasoned condo rental people, I have never stayed in a resort where this has happened. I have always been able to get a luggage cart and bring all of our stuff up in one trip. Also, having the parking garage be separate from the resort made it extremely time consuming to go back-and-forth with the luggage, let alone leaving to go out to eat. We spent a lot of time in the lobby waiting for the elevators on both areas. A lot of wasted time in my opinion.
Parking was extremely tight, and driving around in the parking garage was also a terrible experience, especially when a truck or another large vehicle was coming. You had to stop and let them through. Coming in and out of the resort takes at least 30 minutes because of all of this.
The condo was not very clean. Did not have a lot of things in it, like silverware and things like that but that’s a review for the condo owners. Not this one.
The bar downstairs was fun, live entertainment was great. That was our most memorable thing we did together. Drinks are very expensive $4 Light beer and $8 pina colada or mixed cocktails, and you cannot bring anything in that area but we didn’t mind that. We love live entertainment!
The beach was very crowded. Much to be expected in a high-rise. I try very hard to stay away from high-rises because you are waiting on elevators and the beach is always super crowded. We walked a little bit to the south of this resort where there is an empty lot, a little bit more spacious areas to sit in with your family. Another big downer was Storm drains that drain every couple of hundred feet up and down that entire beach. We could see the waste spewing out of that, People swimming right next to it. If you research what these are, they tell you to stay far away from them, as it is dangerous and full of God knows what. I did not want my children getting in that ocean.
They did not have areas for recycling. We drink a lot of water, Gatorade‘s, etc. A lot more bottles and cans to be recycled than trash. I have not stayed at a condo where they didn’t have separate recycling at least on the beach.
Bottom line, because the beach is so dirty, crowded, and the wait for the elevators was so bad, it really trumped all of our other good experiences so that the end result is we will never stay here again unfortunately. Book early, and find yourself a resort that is not owned by a big company like this.
Not like the pictures

Beware, condo resort is not as nice as pictures! First off, our vehicle would not fit in parking garage with luggage carrier. Had to take off carrier and store in room due to no storage area on site. We stayed in tower 3 on the 17th floor. Only 2 working elevators in this tower, which led to long waits and cramped elevators. On Saturday, the line to use the elevators was out the door and down the side walk. We arrived late to condo, there was a light missing on the 17th floor hallway. Had to use cell phone light to find condo. Our condo was clean, but dated. No big complaints regarding our unit, just the resort. Resort was dirty. Only 2 stars given due to price we paid for the week.
1812, Middle Tower, Gorgeous Room with Amazing Views

We stayed in Unit 1812, which we found on VRBO, and we were pleasantly surprised and extremely impressed. Staying at a resort with condos that are individually-owned and operated always comes with some risk because unlike hotels, each unit is cleaned, furnished, maintained differently. We are happy to report that Unit 1812 was absolutely wonderful.
First off, it was super clean, which is so important to us. We have traveled to the beach for many years and unit 1812 was the cleanest unit we have ever had. In addition, the tvs, furnishings and appliances were all updated. The beds were comfortable and the bedding seemed new.
There is a multi-level parking garage which is convenient to use. There was a very long line to check-in at the front desk, but we got to skip the line and go straight to the room which was so nice after such a long drive.
There are 4 elevators for the middle tower and they were quick so there was never much of a wait. There are several pools, but being up on the 18th floor, the noise from the pools wasn't a problem, and the views from up there were incredible.
We had a wonderful time and we are already planning our return trip to unit 1812 next year!
Baywatch Tower 1 Room 508

The parking garage is extremely tight! Two SUV's or trucks trying to pass each other is very difficult. The parking spaces are very small. The Baywatch resort is an older building. Our room had trash behind the tv's and under the beds. The fitted sheet on our bed was too small luckily I found another one in the closet that was a better fit. The sliding door to our balcony didn't lock. Our room was very outdated. There are many pools and hot tubs and two lazy rivers. There was gunk floating in the pools all week we were there. People on the balconies were throwing beer cans and pizza into the pools. One woman who was obviously pregnant was drunk and smoking dancing around at the pool. Very trashy people stay here. One morning the fire department showed up to inspect a gas leak in the third building. People said everywhere in that building smelled like gas. We were never notified to evacuate. I don't recommend staying here. There are too many choices to end up here. I know I will never be back.

We rented through Elliot rentals, had a 14th floor two bedroom unit. I was pleasantly surprised by how updated the unit was, the online pictures were outdated. Unit was cleaned, but not until way after the 3pm check-in. Im not sure the bed comforters ever get washed, so that was a little sketchy. There were no cleaning products in the unit, only one roll of toliet paper for a two bedroom unit for a week. No tissues or soap even, so just be prepared to bring or buy your own. For the price we paid, I expected better room amenities.
The previous reviewers are correct, the condo unit does not enforce its own rules. Smokers everywhere, even people smoking while using the hot tubs. The pools were nasty, clumps of hair, and people used them to clean off from the sandy beach. The hallways, and outdoor area was not maintained, the same garbage was on the pathway for the entire week we were there.
Overall we had a good trip, and would do it again, but would probably choose to stay in a different condo building.
