Solid four stars, great location.

Exactly what you would expect from a Quality Suites. Nothing fancy ,nothing spectacular , but clean , decent amenities and a good sized room. Great TV selection , solid WIFI and it's not the hotel's fault that a proper breakfast cannot be served at this time. Location is great , it's right on RT 17 and there are dozens of restaurants within a 1-10 minute walk ( there are sidewalks ).
Very spacious but with flaws

My room was quite spacious with a bed area, a small dining table with two chairs, a desk, mini kitchen with sink, microwave, and mini refrigerator. The bathroom was a little tight with limited and smaller towels. Bed was comfortable which is important and heating system also kept me comfortable throughout the nite. The minor issues were as follows: the curtains are directly on the heating vent and as a result are constantly blowing outward. The curtains in this room (515) also have visible mold on them which is disgusting. The water pressure in bathroom is very low in sink but shower head was very strong and enjoyable. The sheets had an unpleasant odor which I'm guessing is from a cheap cleaning detergent. The morning breakfast was far below standard with terrible tasting orange juice and prepackaged danish which were not up to par. Would I stay here again if I was looking for a one night accommodation for cheap - possibly.
Best value in the area

I just stayed on night on my way through the area, and, compared to other hotels, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better hotel for the price. The location is at the northernmost part of North Myrtle Beach, so if location is important, that may be a negative. You are looking at around a 30 minute drive to the center of Myrtle Beach with possibly more during busy times. I was fine with that though. The rooms are clean and modern. I had no problem with noise or any of the other usual hotel complaints. Breakfast is currently restricted to packaged pastries. I give this a strong recommendation as a good budget hotel option.

The hotel is in a great location because it’s close to Almost everything, but at the end of North Myrtle so that the traffic isn’t as bad.
What interaction with the staff was pleasant.
Our room was “mostly” clean. The trash can had dead bugs in the bottom of it, the microwave was ABSOLUTELY disgusting, and the fridge smelled like fish. The AC worked, but not very well. As for the rest of the room the bathroom was clean, beds were okay the blankets do have some stains but let’s be real that’s normal for an older hotel. The floors were randomly wet most of the time and trash grows at the trash cans by the elevators because they don’t clean the rooms unless it’s requested. The pool is the size of a large bathtub (it’s super small). The outlets in the room are VERY loose (like beat open for lack of a better way of putting it haha).
Our biggest issue was the sketchy people who hang around outside and the weed smoking that took place. I couldn’t recommend for families because of the type of people and things that appear to take place around the back of the property.
Other than those things we enjoyed our stay. No i didn’t complain to management about the few issues in the room because unless they are going to produce a microwave that didn’t look like it was growing the plague or defunk our fridge I didn’t see the point.

We have stayed at this Quality Inn several times, and this time was as nice as the last. The staff is great, and Claudia is one of the nicest persons you'll ever meet. The rooms are clean, as well as the common areas, and the property. When they say location, this it the one. There is everything you'll need within a 5 block radius. And access to the beaches is just a turn right, of left out of the parking lot.
