We booked a room through hotels.com, late last night, after coming in from out of town. We got to the hotel and found the inner door, to the lobby, locked. There was a phone right inside the first set of doors so I tried to call the operator several times. I also called the phone number listed, numerous times and could not get anyone on the phone. We knocked and knocked, as well. We ended up having to leave the hotel and book a room at the Holiday Inn Express, which I recommend highly. The next morning I called Denton Creek and I guess they were accusing me of lying because the girl that I spoke to was very rude and said that the person that works the night desk would have answered the phone. She would not assiat me with changing the booking to another night or refund. After smelling urine by the opening of the front doors, it is probably best that we moved on.

We stayed there 9th -11th. You can't run a hotel and senior living and treat your guest correctly. We were told we had a microwave and refridge in our 1st room. NOPE, and breakfast was a joke NONE basically. We moved to another room with a make shift microwave and refridge. The bed closet to windows bedding was dirty and my husband got bit by something. The shower was luke warm not hot. Bugs on the bathroom counter. I left a complaint to get a credit for at least one night. O no call and no credit. Charged $100.00 a night what a joke. We stayed at a LaQuinta in Brownwood for $85 a night and it should of been a $100+ very clean and no bugs. Will not recommend or stay there next car show. o and since a senior home smells like pee always.. from the pets

If you are looking for a place to put your head for a night this isn't the worst. However, we found our towels were torn, the bed cover was ripped, wallpaper was peeling, room smelled stale and hallways had smoke like a casino even though they claimed it was "No Smoking". Not a great place for more than one night

Didn't know it was also Senior Living, it was pretty clean but if you go into the hallway it was very Hot. No Air in Hallways, or elevators. Did not see any bugs as someone said. I left my Phone Charger but for 2 days they said it wasn't turned in by housekeeping, surely housekeeping had to see it it, cause it was plugged into the socket that was visible. On the 3rd day they found it, they send it back, of course I paid for the return, which was fair. But at first I got the feeling someone was going to keep it. The hotel clerk whom checked us in was very friendly.
