Tranquil gem
We have just returned from our second stay with Graham and Jenny at the Ford village b&b. It is an amazing gem located in tranquil countryside with picturesque views. The accommodation is spacious and spotless, with hosts that will bend over backwards to assist with anything they can do - what more can you ask. Food, I heard you say... The breakfasts are quickly becoming legendary with their quality and size, no need for lunch... A great spot to relax and go walking, we will be returning again.
Outstanding
Ford Village B&B, run by Graham and Jenny is one of the loveliest places I have ever stayed. Incredibly welcoming and friendly, we felt happy from our arrival to our sad at leaving departure. The room was incredibly clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay - including a fan to whaft away the "muggy" heat of an oncoming rain. The breakfast was possibly the best ever - with cereal, pastries, juice, toast and full English cooked to perfection by Jenny. The locals popping in for papers and groceries added local colour and I can honestly say we can not wait to visit again - THANK YOU x
Little gem of a place
Stopover on way home. Hosts made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived with fresh milk and use of a fridge. A lovely room with a comfy bed and warm shower in the morning. Nice supply of tea and coffee in room. Breakfast was hot, plentiful and tasty with the bacon taking top billing. Offered us pastries to take away for the rest of our day. Nice little shop with a good suppply of goods from sweets to beer to dog food. Used the accomadation as a base to visit holy island. Praise to our hosts and would return.
Great place!
Graham and Jenny are incredibly hospitable and we had a lovely stay. Ford is a nice inland ‘hub’ for travelling around the local sights on the coast and inland. We’ll probably be back again in the future. We thoroughly enjoyed it ourselves.
Stayed five nights tracing ancestors
Although cold when we visited in early April the B&B was warm and cosy and Jenny and Graham made us feel so welcome. Breakfasts were well catered for and tea and coffee available at other times. Centrally situated in a very small village, lots of walks and attractions close by Most enjoyable five days will defiantly return
