I returned 2 yearr later to this splendid B&B--now with a good spa facilty too. I highly recommend it for the beauty of the place, the kindness of the two owners, the superb breakfast that they serve with style on the unforgettable terrace. The view is breathtaking. And the location is perfect both to reach the center of Ragusa Ibla and the road below where cars and buses run.

Very kindly host / owner Tonino and his wife of the B&B 'Il Giardino Di Pietra' in Noto. On arrival the host gave us a bag of fresh oranges. The establishment is clean and very large. The bathroom is rather big which is also nice. Check out that wood-burning stove in the hallway. There is a washing machine available. You can park your car direct in front of the doorway. The center of Noto is within walking distance. Our breakfast was at bar Roma in the center of Noto. This is quite a walk. And you can only get a granita softdrink, caffè and an Italian croissant. We did use the voice version of Google Translate on the smartphone to communicate. The city Noto itself is very beautiful. So clean and no littering compared to other Italian cities. Lovely cathedrals and more beautiful baroque decorations on those old buildings

The good part is that our apt was huge, the shower was large, and the patio looked nice. And hte kitchen was unusually well equipped re pots and pans (not that we used them). But cleanliness was major issue. Shower curtain had mildew. They left an orange in the fruit bowl that had rotten looking black spots. Slightly sour odor either bathroom or kitchen (adjoining so I wasn't sure which). You would not want to put your food on that toaster oven tray, and there were leftover crumbs on the inside. A drinking glass had something in bottom that seemed like it wasn't thoroughly cleaned. Half eaten chocolate bar in a drawer. Must rely on google translate to communicate. They offered to pick us up at bus stop, would have been a walk uphill otherwise. Skeleton key was noisy to use, & you needed a separate key to get out or in door to building.

La posizione della struttura, unita alla possibilità di parcheggiare agevolmente , permette agli ospiti di vivere il centro storico in tutta rilassatezza. La camera, dotata di bagno e comoda doccia, è confortevole. La cordialità del signor Tonino e le sue precise indicazioni ci hanno reso il soggiorno molto gradevole

Il signor Tonino, sua moglie e la signora che ha fatto le pulizie sono stati di una gentilezza squisita. Merita la collocazione strategica per centro storico e mare. Era bello anche stare sul terrazzino ombreggiato da un magnifico albero.
