The city of Nova Friburgo is veru agreable with beautiful days in this may and somewhat cold at night. The rooms are wide and very clean and charming. I loved the nuptial room. Complete breakfast, four dishes and dessert lunch and dinner with varied food and including hot and cold drinks.

Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Facilities are ok and the pool is good fun (with two diving boards). Rooms are very basic and quite dated but if you're ok with this then you'll enjoy your stay. Although there was no air conditioning in our room, in warmer times this could be an issue (although the hotel can provide a fan). Very family friendly, especially for younger children. Breakfast was good but pretty standard. Receptionist spoke very good English and was extremely helpful for sights around the area.

Friendly, kind and competent staff. Big and bright room and bathroom, with beautiful old hardwood floors. Good mattress. You are wakened by the singing and calling of the various birds in the morning. The surroundings and atmosphere of this older hotel make up for the visible wear and tear. It has on old European appeal - German - Hungarian style. The beauty of the mountains, the cool climate and fresh air make it very envigorating. Surrounded by flowers, plants, a small river. Numerous animals and birds. Wonderful place for families with children. The pool and playground are wonderful!

I was in Bucsky for just one weekend, but it was enough to feel all the hotel team atrention. The team ias really amazing. There is a special team to take care of the children. The hotel is old, but very clean and comfortable. The food is good as well.

We stayed at the Buksky while attending a function which was staged at the hotel. The hotel while an older property in Friburgo, is well maintained, the rooms are nicely decorated and the grounds are well kept. I found the rooms a bit small for my taste, but they were comfortable enough, and the bathroom had just recently been redone. We also found the service to be friendly and the food that was served during the function was tasteful, tasty and well presented...
