Solid, modern option in the area.
LOCATION & ATTRACTIONS NEARBY *** B&B Hotel Nowy Targ Centrum (when I was there last time it was still Casa Hotel Nowy Targ) is located in the centre of Nowy Targ. Close to the railways station and also all commercial/shopping areas of Nowy Targ. It’s conveniently located on the way to Zakopane. As this is one of the tallest buildings in town, it provide with nice views over the town, Tatra Mountains (especially from the top floors, restaurant/balcony) and Babia Gora mountain on the other side (this was the view I had this time). Some administrative offices and few churches are nearby. NT is a small place anyway, so you can reach almost everything on foot. HOTEL OVERVIEW *** This is a nice, basic, but modern hotel. I’m getting lost with all the name changes as this is 3rd name change since they opened. It use to be Campanille, then Casa and now something else (Campanille towels are still in use). Still, good hotel for a reasonable price and comfortable, clean rooms. I like the style and prefer more than local B&Bs (ironically this is the name now - B&B Hotel Nowy Targ Centrum). There’s a busy supermarket on the level 0 – it’s actually below the hotel. I somehow managed to get there as signs were very confusing. Parking is in front of the hotel and also under the building. PURPOSE OF THIS TRIP *** Leisure RESERVATION *** Through ebookers.ie (expedia) as they offered the best pre-paid rate with breakfast. LENGTH OF MY STAY *** 1 night – Sep 2019 CHECK-IN *** Check-in was quick and hassle-free. No issue with the single-use credit card provided by the OTA. My room was allocated on a higher floor, as requested. LOBBY & RECEPTION *** Modern, young and colourful. Looks pretty cool. ROOM *** #705 – 1 Double bed room – standard on the 6th floor and the view facing Gorce & Beskid Wyspowy mountains. The sunset was pretty cool. Room was fresh, clean, modern with nice colours. The same scheme as this was when the Campanille run this property. Room was basic, but very comfortable. I was surprised (for the 2nd time) that I really enjoyed my stay there and even the size of the room (nothing special) was more than enough. Good, light and fresh environment. There's also coffee/tea making kit and complimentary 2 bottles of water. BATHROOM *** Also spotless clean and fresh. Modern design with some eco-friendly addons… like all body/shampoo dispenser which is great, but only when it’s refilled. I unfortunately had to experience it when after all day got there, started showering and… NOTHING. That was quite annoying especially that I had absolutely no other shower gel/soap. I get dressed and went to reception to ask if they had anything (not the best time on Sunday late evening), but they did not have any single-use toiletries. As I desperately needed it (and it was late already) I asked, if I could take it from another room (I suggested in a cup), and luckily this was agreed. I think the girl at reception didn’t even know that they had this type of dispensers. Yeah, I managed to get a half cup of the shower gel and this saved me. Imagine how annoyed I was when I realized that the same cleansing liquid is in the second dispenser near the sink… Aaaaaaaa. Anyway, keep them refilled otherwise guest will annoy you at late hours like I did. BREAKFAST *** It was served in the restaurant on top of the building. There was some small conference group, so they’re sitting together, all other guests had the entire restaurant for them. The selection was very good, from warm meals (eggs, sausages), cold meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurts, cereals etc. Also cold and hot drinks. Very tasty and good selection. Definitely worth paying extra for it (can be done locally as well). From the terrace, you have a fantastic view of the town and Tatra Mountains a bit farther. INTERNET ACCESS *** Complimentary Wi-Fi and I got connected automatically from my last visit. CHECK-OUT EXPERIENCE *** Quick and efficient. STAFF *** Helpful, but I definitely recommend rooms visit to get familiar with them 😊. OVERVIEW *** Despite small issues, I was still happy with my stay. This is a good, hassle-free (normally) accommodation in the area. I would stay there again if they keep the price level (as I don’t think this is any higher category than advertised). Good, strong 3,5* express hotel.
Stayed for one night as part of a cycling holiday. Was very impressed with hotel. Lovely and clean, large rooms with funky lighting. Wifi worked really well. Dinner was included which we had on 8th floor with fantastic views. We did not have a choice of food but what we did have was very good. Cauliflower soup, followed by southern fried chicken with chips. Think they had run out of desert. They had a lovely balcony where you could smoke right next to restaurant. Views from there were great. Bar does shut early but this might be common in this area. There is a supermarket downstairs which is large and good selection of everything. 5 minute walk to main town square.
Budget, modern hotel with a really good prices
LOCATION & ATTRACTIONS NEARBY *** Located in the tallest building in Nowy Targ, very close to the bus stations and 100 millions shops, haha. I think people were thinking that this building will never be used. You consider it as brand new as that was never used before. When I was there it was still Campanille hotel and it was re-branded shortly after. There is a car parking and also garage next to it. At the time it was 20 PLN for 24h (aprox. 5 EUR), but signs were very confusing (is it allowed to park there or not). HOTEL OVERVIEW *** Simple, but modern hotel. This is more like an international 3,5* more than local (“wooden”) 4* B&Bs. Finally there was a nice hotel in Nowy Targ which you can have few hours sleep. This is not a luxury or even mid-range hotel, this is a budget type and it was also priced this way. PURPOSE OF THIS TRIP *** Leisure –family visit RESERVATION *** Booked through ebookers.ie as they offered the best rates (far better than hotel itself). Difference between room only and rate with breakfast was huge, approx. 20EUR (far too much for NT). Pre-paidrate. LENGTH OF MY STAY *** 1 night – May 2017 CHECK-IN ***I arrived slightly earlier, but was advised my room wasn’t ready (let say I believed them as hotel was completely empty that day). I was allowed to leave my car and baggage and come back later. I also had to explain what’s their (internal) procedure for pre-paid reservations like I had (I paid to ebookers and then agent pays them with a single-use credit card). LOBBY & RECEPTION *** Small, but young, modern, good looking. ROOM *** #714 – Double Bed Room – simple room with a city& Tatra mountains view. Room had exactly what you need for a comfortable short stay. Bed was really nice, A/C easy to operate, small working desk, coffee/tea making kit, 2 complimentary bottles of water and free wi-fi. Really well done for cheap/budget hotel. All furniture brand new. BATHROOM *** As this entire concept, express & simple, but functional and clean. Good quality toiletries were in refillable dispensers. BREAKFAST *** As I was visiting friends, I skipped breakfast in the hotel. Also, price difference wasn’t adequate for the standard and location of the hotel. It was more like 5* breakfast price. I don’t think many people would actually add it if they booked RO rate. INTERNET ACCESS *** Complimentary, easy to log-in and connection really good. CHECK-OUT EXPERIENCE *** There was some confusion with my final bill (pre-paid rate explanation again), but this was rectified and corrected shortly. STAFF *** I was only dealing with the reception staff, so didn’t interact too much. At one occasion I was with two girls from housekeeping and they’re honestly surprised “they had any guests today”. Hm... OK, this is Nowy Targ. OVERVIEW *** I was very happy that this type of hotel finally opened in Nowy Targ (where I visit friends and family). As I don’t like regional-style hotels and B&Bs (especially with wooden cheap decorations), this was perfect choice for me. Price and quality was also good. I will be back in the future for sure if they keep the price range. I hope re-branding from Campanille to Casa was only for good.
Great New Hotel
Great new hotel with a perfect location, nice new specious rooms with an interesting kitchen & very close to Zakopane with a perfect price! They have a beautiful roof top restaurant with an excellent view! And not far away at all from the ski slopes, 15 minutes drive Highly recommended
A hungry visit
We arrived with a buss, going to hungary, att 1800. We had announced our visit there and we had order our meal in good time, about 6hours. As we where about 50 People. Dinner was att 19,15. Att 21.15 we left. Then we have'had everything that we had orders. The poor service staff worked Hard, but if you have nothing to deliver? The restaurant was a horrible place. The Lightning was too sharp and the noice in there! Every sound came back to you, stronger than ever. Left you with a headache and tinnitus.
