Great location; a decade overdue for updates
Room furniture needs replacement (damaged; worn out). TV way too small and not high definition. Wi-fi was excellent Terminal clean was extensive. House keepers tore the room apart cleaning. Masking was ignored by many guests and not re-enforced by staff
Annual customer pheasant hunt
We have stayed in most of the hotels in the Oacoma-Chamberlain area and we really enjoyed our stay here. Our rooms were excellent and very dog friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. We had excellent daily room cleaning and the staff at both the front desk and the breakfast area were attentive. We enjoyed our stay and will book here again.
Do not recommend
When we arrived the lady that took our reservation gave us the wrong room, as well as wrote the wrong room on our card after attempting to get in a room that apparently wasn’t ours. She was also making a rule that in public areas there has to be masks.. no where in the building was there a sign and the 2 front ladies after never enforced, nor were they wearing masks themselves. I fully believe she was just making her own rule. The room was fine but you can hear everything, any little noise anywhere. We are just lucky it wasn’t a full hotel and didn’t have any kids running around. Breakfast was good, not well kept up with food and sanitation though. Everyone had free will on making their own breakfast. The lady that checked us out of the hotel was interesting. She was on her phone texting while talking to us the entire time and not professional at all! The front desk lady’s went from one extreme to another. First was super strict and making up rules, another had a care for the world and couldn’t even look at us during check out. I would definitely recommend staying elsewhere if you are in the area.
Bedbugs found in room
When we got into the room, it seemed clean on the surface. We then, while sitting in the beds, found bedbugs. We then immediately cleared our items from the room and notified the front desk. The attendant did give us a refund after calling the manager. The attendant also tried finding a room at another of Wyndham’s properties in town, but none were available. We then left and drove over 250 miles west trying to find a room, but could not find anything available, so we ended up sleeping in a gas station for a few hours, then continuing our trip.
Clean room
Nice, clean room, good hot breakfast with waffle, eggs, sausage and gravy. The pool had a little too much chlorine in it. We had to wait 10 minutes for checking in. Overall we had a pleasant stay, I would certainly recommend to anyone.
