Las habitaciones están bien decoradas, actuales y muy cómodas. El servicio es muy bueno, son muy flexibles con el check out, obviamente si la ocupación lo permite. Está ubicado frente a un centro comercial muy bueno, con tiendas por departamento y grandes marcas y hay muchas opciones para comer: a 50 mts hay un Cheesecake Factory, a 150 mts Wildfire, Maggiano's y varios otros buenos restaurantes, hay un McDonald's muy lindo a 2 cuadras, etc... en fin, para todos los gustos y ocasiones. Si se necesita transporte y no se cuenta con auto, el hotel tiene un servicio de shuttle sin costo que cubre 5 millas a la redonda. La comida del hotel es excelente, pero los precios son un poco elevados.

El personal de recepción fue muy amable con nosotros les regalaron juguetes lego a mis tres hijos y fueron muy amables con los niños. El hotel está impecable y muy cómodo el estacionamiento sin costo. Nos dieron muy buena tarifa al reservar noches adicionales. El último día le comentamos al personal de recepción los detalles de limpieza de la habitación y nos recompensaron por ello. Lejos de Chicago pero es un hotel que cumple con los standards de un hotel 5 estrellas y tienes un mall en la puerta.

NO CUMPLEN CON LOS ESTANDARES DE SERVICIO

estuvimos en el MERIDIEN por trabajo y conocer Chicago, conocemos lo que son estándares de lujo y estándares starwood, aquí en esta propiedad no la aplicaron en ningún momento, desde el check in que estuvimos una hora, toda la estadía y la salida. el desayuno peor que de un hotel de quinta categoría, nada que aportar bueno de este hotel.

Disappointing after holiday stay (Lifetime Titanium Elite)

Let me start off with a positive: The African American bartender was very professional! His drink recommendations and resulting drinks were great. The suite was also very spacious with the bathroom being lovely. Negatives: 1. We stayed on a Sunday night and had planned a nice day at the mall after the craziness of the holidays. I used a suite upgrade and we were in the King Suite. (The hotel was empty, so I probably could have just gotten an upgrade without it, but I may as well use those upgrades when I can.) Upon check-in, we were informed that the water would be off in the rooms starting at 8 AM for at least 8 hours. If we wanted to use the restroom, we could come downstairs. I get a late check-out if desired (4 PM), but we ended up just leaving at 8. No apologies or compensation were offered for the dreadful inconvenience. We booked only a few days earlier, and the fact that we weren't informed ahead of time was very upsetting. There are several other hotels we could have stayed at instead which would allow our plans to go as expected. But we couldn't even sleep in a bit. 2. No offer of points or breakfast at check-in. It was very rushed check-in and I didn't think to ask. They have a restaurant and we usually use that benefit when I travel for leisure. I checked my account a couple of days later and it seems they gave us the bonus points automatically. 3. Minor but annoying issues: a. The coffee maker didn't work properly. b. There was only 1 garbage can in the bathroom in the whole suite. c. I used the app chat to ask what floor(s) the hotel bar and restaurant were located on. It took almost 3 hours for a response. There were few other people in the hotel, so I'm not sure why no one could check the app. Overall, I will not be staying there in the future, nor would I recommend it.

An okay hotel with great staff

I stayed here for a work event. The lobby is very nice and modern. Check in was easy and I got a room earlier than I expected. My initial room was small and cramped which was surprising since it’s a Le Meridien. You expect something normal in size and good quality when staying at this brand. The front desk was kind and offered to switch me to another room which was better. The rooms are clean and comfortable - except in one aspect. You can’t control the temperature. In the winter they only have heat and summer air conditioning. So it’s feast or famine. That’s a big shocker as even lower grade hotels I’ve stayed at had modern climate controls. The room is very hot and there is no way to get fresh air which did not help with my sleep. A manger was very apologetic and brought up a fan which cooled it down slightly. Overall an okay stay which was greatly helped by the staff.
