Vintage comfort
This was our daughter’s wedding venue and we were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance of this hotel in the historic district of Oak Park. Warm hospitality greeted us in the beautiful lobby and remained the standard throughout our special occasion. The staff was incredibly accommodating throughout the entire weekend. The rooms were lovely, spacious, and very clean (though the bed was a bit firm.) The dinner at the reception was phenomenal in food quality and gracious service. You know it’s a great place to stay when you relive each moment with a sigh of satisfaction and a smile on your face. This momma was happy!
Transition from one hone to another
I really like this hotel. It’s at a great location, walking distance from everything, restaurants, shopping, grocery stores. It is great! It is a clean hotel. My room had a mini fridge, microwave, plates and cups. Also, a coffee maker and coffee. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful. The only two things that needed improvement were the shower head and the hair dryer. Other than that, it was impeccably clean. Also my check in was at 3pm but I got there around 12pm and the room was ready, which was very helpful!
Pleasant Hotel & Staff
This was our second stay at this property. The property is well maintained and staff are friendly and helpful. The room infrastructure works very well. HVAC is quiet and effective. Plumbing is well installed and operates smoothly. The room was clean and we were given the option of whether we wanted daily housekeeping. Two on site restaurants provide lunch and dinner options. The hotel would be more inviting if it provided even a light breakfast option. Those with mobility challenges will find the multiple steps and longer ramps inconvenient and a challenge for some. Handicapped accessibility is provided through some small lifts to overcome some of the changes in floor levels, but they are slow and inconvenient.
Oak park central.
Hotel was easy access, nicely appointed, good Oak Park location. Hotel clerk gave us a single bed. I had reserved 2 beds as with my adult son, so another trip to the hotel clerk. Not a great nights sleep. Not a lot of guests but was booked on the second floor. The person above decided to begin their exercise routine as 6 am. Called the desk clerk but the activity was halted for 2 min. Cleaning person began their routine at 8:45. No signs to put on the door for quiet, no tv station list. Floors not sound resistant.
Love it
Every time I come to Chicago I stay here, great customer service and the rooms are very clean and cozy I love my view and it’s close to all the attractions are close and if you want to go downtown it’s a quick train ride
