Bright pink hotel in the heart of the city!

Great find in the heart of the city.not everyone’s choice but we loved it. Authentic, Mexican, nice staff trying hard to please everybody. There were young children in the courtyard, the hot water takes time to get used to so you need to persevere it’s solar heated be patient. Be nice to the staff and they will be nice back. It’s 3 star. If you don’t want Mexican, noisy kids, an old building that is right in the middle of a bustling all day market 7 days a week then it is not for you. It isn’t the Carlton, The Ritz or theFairmont. It is a fun little hotel trying it’s best in very trying times. Breakfast is simple, fruit water and coffee is in constant supply all day.. we loved it maybe because like us it isn’t 5 star. We think you were great Hotel Trebol and in fluorescent pink easy to find in the dark.

When we first arrived I was a little surprised by all the vendors, taxi had to leave us a block away, once we arrived at the hotel it was a very fast check in. Nice clean spacious room with great amenities, the bed was a little too firm . Great for my back. Breakfast was delicious. Everything you need to see is walking distance. Check out was quick as well, day before I ask for a taxi, pick up at 6am, taxi was on time, we will definitely come back.

Location is really downtown, very noisy and busy. Hotel os beautiful, our bedroom was dark and cold, breakfast was ok, cleaning could be better. The hot water was a constant problem, always either boiling or cold.
Not willing to be Covid oriented

What an awful experience. South African’s are currently not allowed to travel. Of all the hotels booked for our Mexican holiday which had to be cancelled this is the only one who would not help out. Simple really, won’t stay here when I eventually am allowed to travel. Clearly guests mean nothing. Wow.
A Solid Choice If You Want In The Center Of Oaxaca City

We had an enjoyable stay here in January 2020 along with many snowbirds from Canada that return every year. The staff here are the best. I got great restaurant suggestions, perfect room attendent and everything was spotless clean. Even the very nice lady that has the excursion desk helped us out a lot. I got the cheapest room and maybe I should have splurged a little because it was very small and dark but we made it work and slept just fine. Breakfast was exactly what we wanted every morning but the coffee was quite weak. My wife enjoyed reading in the garden too. Location is "Right There", in the thinck of it across the street from the main market. Our next trip I would choose a more relaxing neighborhood.
