Nice place to stay in authentic mansion
Nice place to stay in authentic mansion. Great staff. Very good and healthy breakfast. Not all room equipped with A/C, the fan provided is not sufficient during high temperature. Mattress is too soft for me.
Pleasant sojourn in Obernai
The hotel proved to be a very good choice for a few days in Obernai. The room was very spacious ,comfortable ,and quiet in a traditional manner- not high tech or over glamorous.The inner courtyard of the hotel is picturesque with many decorative pots of geraniums. There is no lift to get from Reception/ ground floor to floor above. Breakfast was very good, and there were plenty of restaurants close by.( no restaurant in hotel, but one could order a glass of wine! Staff friendly , and helpful The hotel,was particularly well situated on the edge of the town centre, and within a very easy walking distance of the railway station ( I used trains, no car). Obernai is well situated on the Alsatian Wine Road, and is also only half an hour by train from Strasbourg. I am not sure how easy it would be to access any of the other picturesque villages on the Wine Road by public transport. ( the town of Colmar can be reached by train) My one slight criticism of the town centre of Obernai was the number of cars in the town centre- keeping the cars away from the town centre would have enhanced the pedestrian experience
So amazingly cute
Best city for Christmas Markets. We could base here in the cutest little town and seeing many surrounding Christmas Markets. We loved staying here. Room was quiet. Breakfast and parking was awesome. Would totally recommend.
perfect hotel
the hotel located in the entrance of the city, in a walking distance . city is very near. the rooms are clean and nice, there is outside a beautiful patio. there is no restaurant but many outside in walking distance. breakfast is very good. the cost is reasonable.
Very Pleasant
Le Gouverneur is a charming hotel centrally located in the heart of Obernai. The wooden courtyard and stairs are picturesque.The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean without being high tech modern. Breakfast is superb.
