Masking is a joke, old and run down
Upon arrival the lobby was filled with pot smoke. The stove top broken and while the person at the desk kindly came up to look at it she entered with a mask on only her mouth with her nose out and couldn’t fix it. Masking at the hotel was not enforced. Guest were unmasked and staff and cleaning crew were in and out of rooms and hallways with no mask coverage at all. Unsafe. No other word for it.
Long Weekend Getaway near Cleveland OH
As soon as we walked in we were greeted with all smiles and a very professional staff. 1 bedroom king suite was very clean, nice and roomy. Was asked if we wanted housekeeping service during my 4 night stay, I chose not to have it (they ask because of Covid 19 and also for guests privacy). I was told to just let them know if I needed anything at all, when I needed shampoos and towels they accommodated me immediately. The pool was by reservation because of Covid which is a great idea. Grab and go breakfast because of Covid-another great idea so they can give something a little extra for guests (granola bars and muffins) but totally understand because of this Covid 19. My husband and I enjoyed this quiet and clean hotel and appreciated all of the staff. We will definitely be back, Such a Great Place!!!
2 Strikes, We're Out
First of all, the rating lost stars because of the lack of hospitality, not for any shortcomings of the hotel itself. It is convenient to the highway, clean and is very nice but that is where the compliments end. We stayed 2 separate times within 2 weeks, giving the benefit of the doubt that things would be better the second stay. Neither time were we welcomed as diamond members and had to ask for waters both times. The second stay, after waiting 20 minutes to check in because no one was at the desk the whole time, while the phone was ringing off the hook, we finally located the desk clerk in the rest room. When she finally came out, she did not put on a mask to check us in and seemed to be bothered with the process. Both times, the morning desk clerk was very nice and apologized for not offering a better breakfast and no decaf coffee, which was entirely understandable. Needless to say, there won't be a 3rd stay here.
Restful and up top date
Spent a night here while traveling. Easay access from highway with many choices for dining nearby. Friendly front desk staff both in the evening and morning. Easy parking. Pool was open by reservation which I found to be good news. One family at a time for a max of one hour. Good idea. Breakdaast area closed, understandable. In the evening there was coffee and hot water. Not much, but something. Breakfast was grab and go. Only regular coffee and hot water. Apple juice. Some yogurt and granola bars. There was single serve cereal, but I did not see milk. Maybe you had to ask. It was something, but I am so use to much more. USA Today in lobby. The room was great - all that i expect and even nicer. Comfortable sitting area, well stocked kitchen area, love having a real plate to out take out on. Living area roomy. Bed comfortable will real size pillows. Bath was excellent. Walk in shower nice size and hot water. SHower was high, which for me was great, some others might be too high. Quiet. Comfortable, A great nights sleep. Just what I wanted.
Clean, safe, and contactless care
My wife and I were very impressed with the level of care that the team took to make our stay feel safe during this time. Everything in the room was remarkably clean, the contactless check-in process and key access was flawless, and the front desk's response to our request (we needed silverware and shampoo) was prompt, professional, and contactless as well. My family will be staying here again, as our son is a student at a nearby college. I recommend it to your family as well.
