Loved the whole week of our stay here. Nicky and Kevin really super hosts, nothing too much trouble. Food excellent (never had such fresh and wonderful poached eggs), rooms immaculate and such a pretty thatched cottage. Village so pretty and surrounding area and this was a great location to explore Devon and Cornwall and local restaurants of which there were plenty to choose from. Nicky’s cream teas and home made jams were delicious, especially the black currant compote. Parking was at side of cottage through a gate. Excellent value. We would definitely book here again if we come to Devon in the future.

This was our second time staying at Middletown Farmhouse and it did not disappoint at all. We cannot recommend Nicky and Kevin more highly. They are very welcoming, the bedroom is delightful and the breakfast fantastic. We parked our bicycles safely undercover secured to security posts that Kevin had installed. The village is charming surrounded by beautiful countryside and has a great inn with restaurant to dine at 5 minutes walk away. The price was excellent value. We will definitely return.

Absolutely lovely. Gorgeous building in an incredibly picturesque Luke village. Clean, fresh and very comfy rooms. Kevin and Nicky were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Fresh eggs from their hands, home-made jams. (The blackberry curd with yogurt was incredible). This was a romantic weekend away but it would work work brilliantly as a bar if you were walking in Dartmoor, or to break a long journey to Cornwall.

We stayed for our son’s wedding in the local church. Nicky & Kevin we’re welcoming and so accommodating which was wonderful! We were welcomed with a delicious cream tea, homemade scones and strawberry jam! The room was characterful, clean and very comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious with homemade granola and conserves, fresh eggs too. The area is lovely and we did a lovely walk to Honeychurch - the church is gorgeous - and the local views are stunning. The local pub too was great.

Peaceful and tranquil setting, very clean and comfortable, lovely breakfasts, Property full of character and beautifully restored. Kevin and Nicky charming hosts, made us feel very welcome. Will be back.
