Cleanest La Quinta

Exceptionally clean. Most La Quintas are just average on cleaning. Very pet friendly. Staff was not always masked which is a negative. Well lit parking area. The staff was friendly and check in and check out were efficient.

lift was broken & no notice was given. Got in late at night. No options. Manager was nasty. Then she blamed me for booking on the web site for the reason that I wasn't told about the broken lift, which was broken 2 days before our stay! But, I had called the hotel that afternoon & wasn't told about the issue.
Wow, what a nice place

Charming staff, clean quiet rooms, and early breakfast (3:30am). I would have given all 5 stars except the location is somewhat remote. It’s close to I- 40, but distant from restaurants in the area. Still, I would definitely stay here again.
No Heat, No Air, No Cares

After a 12 hour day of driving, I called to book two rooms. While they were accommodating and had no issues swiping my debit card, my room has no heat or air conditioning. The first room I was assigned the wall thermostat did not work, at all. The next room I was moved to, while the thermostat display works, it does absolutely nothing. While a staff member was kind enough to come up and double check I was using it correctly, there were no answers except to try to move me again. I was told maintenance doesn’t work the weekends, and I guess that also means no on call assistance. The person who assisted me offered to call her manager and see if she could talk her through any trouble shooting. I guess that was a no go, since I’ve not heard anything. At that point I resigned to stay in the stuffy room since I was exhausted. I walked across the haul to check on my disabled travel campanion’s room. He also has neither heat nor air. At no point was I asked if I’m a Wyndham Rewards member (I am). If you are concerned about mask wearing - signs are all over the property stating mask wearing is mandatory - yet nope, they don’t care. What ever the price, it’s just not worth it. It’s a shame since the property looks nice, the rooms seem nice if you don’t want to control the temperature or air flow, the staff was courteous, but sorry this is a deal breaker and wins the 1-star rating.
