Great facilities
Great place to stay. Safe location, close to restaurants / shopping / gas stations, very quiet rooms, clean facilities, and just off the interstate so easy access. Must stay if in the area and 5 miles to Auburn University.
No hot water
No hot water n was rudley advised that sum one would be n to look at it but never came asked politely for a refund after 28 min n room but declined by front desk member wyndham rewards customer service was not any help with hold time so I just took a lost
My Stay at The Microtel
The stay was A very pleasant experience. The staff was extremely professional and nice. The room was extremely clean and well maintained. The room was serviced daily with clean towels and toiletries. The breakfasts bags were just enough. They followed all the CDC guidelines for COVID-19. (IE. Social Distancing, Wearing Face Coverings, Cleaning the Common Areas ETC) I would highly recommend this particular Microtel . As of matter of fact I have a reservations to stay there again. This will be go to hotel when I'm visiting the Auburn/Opelika area from now on.
You get what you pay for
My husband and I have been paying $10 less per night for a monthly weekend away from the kids. We always wake up needing to go to the chiropractor because of the beds being worn out. Decided to splurge the extra $10 & we're happy we did. Best night sleep yet! They just bought all new beds a few weeks ago. It was clean and the temperature of the room was perfect. Breakfast wasn't served but we are in the middle of a pandemic and shouldn't eat off of a breakfast bar/buffet anyways. The night staff and morning staff were rather pleasant. We will be choosing this location again next month.
Pleasantly surprised with Microtel!
Very happy with this location! Passing through Alabama and didn’t want to stay at a motel, but for almost the same price we stayed in a pristine, roomy, comfortable hotel in a safe area and with friendly staff. Will definitely be finding a reason to come back this way!
