Perfect place, perfect beach, perfect vacation! Love Manchebo!
This was our 17th visit to Aruba. For the past 8 visits, we have chosen to stay at Manchebo Beach Resort. There are many reasons I could cite: the fantastic beach; the beautiful rooms; the great food; the close proximity to everything we enjoy --but the #1 reason we come back to Manchebo is the staff! Sandra at the front desk was most helpful when we had to cancel our plans in 2020 due to COVID. She was equally helpful when it was possible once again to visit the island. She answered endless questions about how to maneuver the paperwork so that everything was in order making our arrival at the airport seamless. Once at Manchebo, where we stayed for two weeks in a garden room --we choose the garden rooms because the gardens are truly beautiful. Ours included a small pavilion where I could sit and read when the sun on the beach was too hot in the afternoon [room 54]. We asked for and were given a ground floor room --so convenient for us oldsters. Satchel greeted us and took us to our room offering refreshing Mojito as we checked in. He never failed to greet us when we left or came back to the resort. Ana kept our room spotless and was completely unobtrusive. The front desk asked when we'd like the room done --and it was always done at that time. Lovely to return from the morning's walk on the beach to find everything tidy.
Above and beyond in every way!
We just came back from four nights at this wonderful property. There are not enough superlatives to praise Tamara in reservations. I called her last week when we were staying at a different property on the island that was a huge disappointment – she immediately sprang into action, finding us a room for our family of four, including our two kids. Two nights into our stay, my husband’s snoring became unbearable. What did she do? Found a way to get us two rooms at a reasonable price to allow us to escape his rumblings! At every turn, she was helpful, gracious and incredibly accommodating. Her approach is pretty much typical of everyone at the resort. Super friendly, helpful and service oriented. The beach is absolutely impeccable. In spite of the incredible amount of food and drink service, the beach is pristine. Food from Pega Pega is delicious. We also enjoyed a massage at the spa – felt very safe even with Covid. The hotel also helped us organize a great tour of the national park as well as jet ski adventures. Overall, this hotel affords all the comfort you would hope for in a peaceful, safe and authentic environment. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Lovely covid safe vacation spot
We very much enjoyed our stay with great food, clean rooms, beautiful beach, phenomenal staff members we did not want to leave! As a gay couple we also felt very welcome and are actively recommending the resort to all friends and family! Stephanie, our waitress especially made our stay so wonderful every night at dinner!
AMAZING RESORT
I booked a trip for myself to Manchebo Resort. OMG.....amazing experience. Everything from the food, service, room and beach was amazing. Steps from white sands and blue ocean was great. Spent my days on the beach where they wait on you hand and foot while relaxing under a the thatched umbrella or under a palm tree. I very impressed with the food selection at the restaurants. I was worried that an all inclusive would have "buffet" style and boring food....was I wrong. Every meal that I had was so good. Harold was my server, and make table side bananas foster and fresh Caesar salad for me!!!! I received a 80 minute hot stone massage and it was so relaxing to start my first full day at Manchebo. My experience was so amazing, last minute I decided to stay another day. The waterfall shower and toiletries were great as well. I highly recommend Manchebo. I have scheduled another trip at the end of April. Thanks to the great staff for an amazing time!!! See you soon!!
Going the extra Melvin
I arrived at Mancebo with the goal of reading on the beach for 3 weeks. when I opened my Kindle it was mALFUNCTIONinG. Oh I'll just order from Amazon. No Amazon in Aruba. And very difficult to buy a book in Aruba....I like some trash but their's were ultra trashy. Melvin at the front desk to the rescue. He asked what type of books I like, gave me about 6 and let me keep them for the whole 3 weeks (and we only stayed at Manchebo for the first 4 nights)
