Feels Like Home!

Only half a mile from Disney World? What are the odds? I mean, this property already has pretty much everything you’ll need on vacation, save for clothing and food. Plenty of towels, all arranged neatly, beds made with care. I walked in and was pleasantly surprised by how nice this space was. Granted, the rugs/carpeting could benefit from a good whacking/deep cleaning every now and then, as I spilled some water on the rug and cleaned it up with a paper towel the paper towel had blackish stains on it. Mind you, the rug is green, so it had a to have been dirt from previous use, but that truly is my only objection to the property itself. The beds are very comfortable, showers get hot with great water pressure, wi-fi is highly reliable, and it’s just all around what one could only hope for in a single family space. I have no complaints other than that minor issue with the rugs/carpeting. Overall, this has been a fantastic stay and a welcome place to come back to from long days at Disney World. Now, the transport system is another matter entirely, and it is really confusing to navigate, so you’re almost forced to take an Uber/Lyft if you want to leave the park later than the return transport is set to arrive. Other than that, I really can’t complain. My expectations were far exceeded, and I can actually say that I had fun on this trip, which is not something I’ve been able to say in quite some time. Blue Tree Resort at Lake Buena Vista was a big part of that, so thank you.
A bit outdated

Furniture was outdated/old. Decor was late 90s. Bedroom TVs were too small. Kitchen knives were dull; not sharp. There were small ants found on nightstand in master bedroom. Overall, it’s a good budget option for a family of 6.
Great value for the price

We stayed in a 2 bedroom deluxe August 8, 2021 - August 14, 2021. We paid less then $100/night for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath room where we really didn't have to bring anything but our personal items. Spotty wi-fi was our biggest issue. Yes you could tell it was an older resort, but it was clean for the most part ( the carpets are due for a change-out as we did see lots of stains on them). The staff were great. The pools were fine. Hot tub we used didn't have much in the way of jets. We felt safe at all times. The value for what you get for the price is excellent. We would stay there again if in the area. The week before we had stayed at a really nice 2 bedroom 2 batch condo in Melbourne Beach that cost about 3 times as much as this room and I actually preferred this place. Some of the reviews on this resort are overly dramatic.
Ruined the trip

This place is no resort it is a bunch of outdated rooms that smell awful, and so small. We were supposed to get a queen bed ended up with a full, it was so uncomfortable and when I called about the bad smell I was told it would go away in a day or two. Well it never did. The pools seemd closed more than open, dogs barking in several rooms the air conditioning was sub par at best. I would not stay here again if you paid for my trip.
Blue Tree Resort

This resort is disgusting and old. We stayed here Aug 20-Aug 23. Stayed in building 13 on the 2nd floor. Our room smelled like mildew and very musty. The carpet is old and everything in the room is old. Called the office to change rooms and they sent security to let us see the rooms on the second floor in building 13. Everyone of the rooms on the second floor in that building smelled like mildew and musty. So we decided we would keep our room. I started feeling sick from the smell so I booked at another hotel. On the way leaving, stopped by the office to let them know we were checking out. The manager, very sweet lady says I’m sorry kept apologizing so she upgraded us to a 2 bedroom and said you can check the two rooms out. If you don’t like them at least we tried to make you happy. So we went to building 15 and the first room security showed us in that building it smelled also and I said no show us the other one. It was also in building 15. It smelled a lot better and was clean but I still cleaned it with Lysol and bleach and had my own plug in. The carpet was old and like I said everything needs to be updated. I WOULD NOT recommend staying in this resort.
