Cute Themed Hotel

Reviewed 29 november, 2021

Overall this hotel is good. It’s a value resort at Disney and the room we got was dated. It was still clean and nice, but it’s kind of disappointing to not know if you’ll get the updated room or the dated room but pay the same price either way. The gift shop and cafeteria were great. Mickey waffles are served in the morning. I loved the theming of the hotel. We stayed in the 50s section for one night.

Wonderful Value Resort

Reviewed 29 november, 2021

Lovely Value Resort at Disney. Very Clean and great access to transportation via Disney's Skyliner to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Great food at the Dining Hall, super Contactless Check In and Check out process. Rooms have been updated and very clean. We were there 5 nights and had no housekeeping. We put our dirty towels outside the door and grabbed clean ones from housekeeping. We did have 3 adults in a preferred room and that was a bit tight. I personally wouldn't go more than 2 adults. There is one queen bed and a queen murphy bed that folds down but takes away the table to sit at. Very Crowded to have that bed down all the time.

Convenient but NOISY in some buildings

Reviewed 28 november, 2021

First things first, I’d rate the hotel as a 2.5 star. It’s very clean, very well maintained but the rooms are on the small side. Also a positive is that the Skyliner stops here. We were there during a holiday week and only had to wait to board one time. The convenience of staying at a Skyliner hotel cannot be overstated. The food court is also a bonus. Everything is pretty good except the burgers. Now, for the negative. This is the LOUDEST hotel I have ever stayed in, anywhere. DO NOT pay for a premium room if you or your kids need quiet. The premium rooms are all located around the pool and there is music or a DJ from 10am to 10pm. And maintenance starts VERY early in the morning. We were awakened by a crew that was trimming the palm trees at 4am! I honestly do not know why this resort is run in a way that simply doesn’t allow anyone to sleep. I got a Max of four hours per night. And don’t think you can bring the kids back to nap at lunch - they’ll be pressure washing the sidewalk or the stairs or the pool deck from 10:30 - 2:30 every single flipping day. Long story short - get a room FAR away from the pool area if you actually like to sleep. If not for the noise, I’d rate this as 5 stars.

Pleasant Surprise

Reviewed 20 november, 2021

I don't normally write reviews, but I used so many online reviews to plan my Disney trip, that I figured I would give back. I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at Pop. I didn't expect too much as this resort was priced much lower then other Disney resorts. However, it way exceeded expectation. we had a 2 queen bed room, one being a pull-out bed. it is right space, but the furniture is positioned to make the room bigger then it actually is. we heard Pop recently renovated rooms and it was evident. it felt like we were in a newly renovated room. there is no housekeeping due to the new Covid restrictions, however the room was as clean as one could be when we checked in. the pools were great! they had entertainment for kids both during the day and at night poolside for the days we were not in a theme park. the best part is that the pools are heated which allowed us to swim although the weather wasn't really swimming weather. the arcade is great. as someone who admires vintage arcade games, this was a super nice extra at the resort. the staff were all great. all willing to go the extra step to ensure Travelers are satisfied with their stay. I also felt the transportation to theme park was exquisite. they have the skyliner right there which took us to Epcot, Hollywood studios, boardwalk, and. ouls have gone to a few other resorts from, as well as buses constantly running. I though we would have wait a while for buses to come and leave, but they were coming and going all the time. we never had to wait more then 5 mins except when waiting for the Magic Kingdom morning line. which wasn't buses fault just a lot of people wanting to be there right at the opening of the park. overall, phenomenal stay and kudos to Pop and the staff there.

Better than the All-Star Hotels, but arcade was dismal

Reviewed 20 november, 2021

The rooms had been refurbished and were clean, bright and well designed. The cafeteria was back to being super efficient and had lots of variety (was not great during 2020 COVID). Location is great because of proximity to gondola. Only complaint was that the arcade (usually a family favorite) was dismal. Ski ball was mostly broken and dirty, clown ball game broken, joysticks on pac man video games not responsive. Please take the time to fix up your arcade Disney!!!
