Our Stay at Embassy Suites
We stayed at the Embassy Suites during our trip to visit theme parks. Everyone is very pleasant, the room is excellent, and the bed is fantastic! The pools are heated and the hot tubs are wonderful. The hotel is within walking distance to I Drive. We definitely are going to keep it in our most favorite places to visit.
Embassy suites by Hilton

This is a sad example of an Embassy Suites by Hilton
The maintenance on this facility is pathetic. Walk around the exterior of the building and look at the trash strewn parking lot and landscaping. Take a peek at the busted up light fixtures along the drive by the pool and spa area. Look at the overflowing trash cans. Look at the entry way to the swim/spa area. Based on these observations,( the first thing that customers see), Is this the type of place that you want to frequent. See the non compliant outdoor receptacle that the Christmas lights are plugged into. Yes there is supposed to be a cover! The light pole across from the outdoor swimming pool entrance has a conduit that is pulled apart and now has exposed wiring. And what on earth is a sign advertising a swim club doing on Hilton property. Then go to the front desk. Look up! See that air vent directly over you. Nasty, nasty. That is the air that you breathe circulating through their. Ride up in the elevator. Start at the ground floor. See all the stuff on the windows, and see how dirty the floor is. Imagine what you are touching when you push the buttons. Get off the elevator and walk through the hallways. See the bits and pieces of trash laying on the floor. Get off on the 7th floor and look out over the lobby rail. Look down. Is that toothpick still there. Bet it is. Now, go to the ice machine on the 7th floor by room 710 ( where I stayed) .. Is the trash can still full? Now try to fill up an ice bucket. I am sure that you will not be able to fill it up with out some issues and then be sure to check the ice to see if there are dirt or rust specks in them due to lack of maintenance. Now go into 710 ( which has been specially cleaned and sanitized for guests and wipe the ants off of the counter and squish the ones on the floor near the refrigerator. Then go into the bathroom and clean the toothpaste spittle of someone else off of the mirror ( just like my wife got to do). Look at the ceiling in the bathroom. Nice patch job huh? Now turn around and clean the back of the door that has had stuff running down it. Oh, by the way, have maintenance fix the shelf under the microwave. It is coming apart. Don’t forget to go into the bedroom and clean up the fabric rose petals off of the floor so your pet doesn’t eat them. Oh, and call maintenance because the lamp closest to the window doesn’t work. Nothing wrong with the bulb. Something wrong with the lamp And then wipe down the table in the living area so that you do not get any of that leftover foodstuff on you. Be very careful when you wash your hands or take a bath. The water is scalding hot and I am pretty sure that it exceeds OSHA specifications. I did not have a thermometer with me to confirm. Ah, now you can sit down and enjoy your stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Orlando, as long as you have no concerns about your security as the fold open door stop is completely loose in the door frame and the door opens easily even when it is in place. Take a look. So, no cocktail hour, no buffet breakfast, no housekeeping unless specifically requested and a plethora of problems including a staff who pretty much doesn’t care what the place looks like. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy another stay at this Embassy Suites Sad regards from a very loyal Hilton customer. P.S. I did speak to the manager (Gregory) about a natural gas smell in the parking lot and when he went out to check on it, he asked how was my stay. I gave him a handful of issues and he kinda glazed over after that. While we were outiside he actually did pick up some of the trash (token effort). He has obviously heard many of these complaints previously and has chosen to do little more than provide lip service
