Hard Rock Hotel

This is our 5th time back at the Hard Rock Hotel and once again it didn't disappoint. We stayed ina kids' suite room on the rock royalty level. As far as covid restrictions on the rock royalty level, things are basically back to normal. The lounge is back on the 7th floor and hot food is offered during the breakfast and happy hour times. Only difference is that food is handed to you by a lounge employee verses helping yourself to a buffet. But it is still all you are to eat. All of the staff is wonderful in keeping the lounge spotless and safe for all guests. Special acknowledgment goes out to Samantha who helped us with special touches to celebrate our son's graduation and Nan who helped keep our drinks full during happy hour. Both Sam and Nan, as well as all of the rock royalty staff greeted us with smiles every day. Do not hesitate to book a room on the rock royalty level. The hotel is still a home away from home. Comfortable accommodations and friendly staff. All covid safety measures are being upheld and the grounds are spotless. We rented a poolside cabana one day and Trent, our waiter provided impeccable service. We leave the Hard Rock always planning our next trip back. Feel free to send any questions my way.

Hard Rock Hotel is by far the very best hotel on site. We have stayed at several others on site and nothing compares. It is the closest to the parks to walk to. The service at the pool is amazing. If Shaw is working; make sure you get chairs in his section! He’s amazing. Tracy was working with him on our last day there and she was super sweet and helpful as well. Every staff member we came in contact with was so nice. The rooms and hotel are CLEAN! The elevators are fast. The express pass that comes with your stay is worth every Penny. The food at the Beach Club and Kitchen is also great! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We’ve been to Hard Rock many times and won’t be staying anywhere else from now on when we visit Universal. Thank you Shaw and Tracy at the pool, and Hoover at the bar!

Wonderful get-away date night with my wife! The restaurant was super comfortable, the food delicious and the people there even better! Chef Jeffrey made a wonderful meal that still has us thinking about it...and the dessert was over the top too! We had opportunity to chat with Dawn, the manager, too. She was receptive to our compliments as well as aware that tonight’s meal was a celebratory one! Rodger, our server, was fantastic! It’s funny how things work out too. We bumped into him outside serving others and instantly connected. We thought, hope we get him: we did! He was super attentive to our requests, ensured our comfort and then we chatted away sharing this and that! He treated us as if we were friends that reconnected after years apart...and we just me this wonderful person! It was a perfect blend of customs care and authentic connection. Omg, I’ve been to Orlando 5 times and always wanted to stay here. We finally did for a couples trip, no kids this time. It was perfect. I love the vibe of the hotel. Beds are comfy rooms are big. Went downstairs to the kitchen restaurant, grabbed breakfast and Starbucks. We would sit outside each morning on the terrace over looking the pool area. Just beautiful and peaceful to start the morning. The pool area is huge, clean and warm. Free express pass, boat ride or just quick a walk up to the park. This hotel is amazing and loved it!

This is by far the BEST way to visit Universal Orlando. The hotel is beautiful and has activities for all members of the family however it is the customer service that brings this to the next level. Like all Universal hotels they text you and you are able to text the front desk directly. We asked for some additional supplies for the room and they both replied and provided this immediately. One of our friends left her wallet in the room after we checked out, they had security get it immediately and asked if they wanted us to have us shipped home or left at the front for us. The on-site food is phenomenal and if you’re up for drinks and a good time, this is the place to be.
