More about the hotel
Won't be back - and spare me the "free stay" marketing pitch.
Where to start? Check in was fine. The receptionist was efficient and covered all the key points of the stay. She talked me through who to contact if I needed anything, and gave me a map to where my room was. She also told me to walk over to the Concierge desk to get the parking pass. And that's where it started going south before I even made it to the room. - Concierge had no idea who I was, couldn't find me in the system - took ten minutes to get a simple parking pass - - that you really don't need because you have to use your room key to swipe into the parking lots. Communication at this place is impossible. 5:15 in the afternoon I call the "Concierge" to ask a question about dinner. NO ANSWER. So I called the front desk. NO ANSWER. So I called the Operator. NO ANSWER. So I called room service. NO ANSWER. I finally reached someone in housekeeping - who referred me back to the front desk. NO ANSWER. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. I even tried sending a message on the Hilton App. I admit I did get a response from the app. THE NEXT DAY AT 7 PM! It only took them 25 hours to respond. The "Concierge" did actually call me to see how things were going with my stay. The problem was HE CALLED AT 7:50am on a Saturday! Seriosly Hilton. Get your crap together. You can reach me through Marriott.
Great to Shop horrible to sleep
Great location to shop but all the amenities are closed at the hotel but the pool and the beds are horrible. I stay in over 100 hotels a year for work and this has to be the worst night sleep ever the beds are like sleeping on a brick with a flat no fetter pillow. For the points / price you can stay at a lot better hotels in the area. All these reviews online are old and the worst on vacation is no sleep.....
Girls trip 2020!
My cousin and I stayed here for 3 nights in November. I booked a 2 bedroom king suite. I was a little confused at first because I had two room numbers. One was a king studio and the other was a king bedroom. There was a door between our rooms. This worked out great because it gave her the ability to close her door to sleep, and my bedroom had its own door as well. The balconies were gorgeous to hang out on at night. The hotel is very well laid out. Trolleys for luggage are everywhere. Front desk was phenomenal and I liked that they text to keep in touch and make sure you’re happy. My only complaint: this is a Hilton property. All Hiltons are enforcing social distancing and masks. I saw several employees without masks. Several guests in common areas without masks. And on two separate occasions, handymen tried to get on the elevator with us, even though there isn’t 6’ to get away from each other. Come on, Hilton. Keep your guests safe.
Great Location for Orlando Attractions
We stayed in a two bedroom unit with our family to visit Disneyworld and Universal. The property itself is beautiful and well kept. Rooms are spacious and clean. Check in was easy - they do send you to a Hilton Grand Vacations desk to get your parking pass to try and get you in for their timeshare program - but you can just say no and there is no push back. Situated well between Disney and Universal - approximately 10-12 minutes away for each, very easy drives. The pool area is very nice - though if you get a room facing the pool it's loud with music and kids until about 10PM (not a bad thing - to be expected, but incase it would bother someone) Would recommend as a very nice property, spacious rooms for a family and close to the parks.
Great for a Disney visit
Our family of 4 stayed in a two bedroom unit on our Disney vacation. We’ve always stayed at a Disney Property, but the benefits aren’t the same right now due to Covid. This was the PERFECT option and I’m so glad we chose it. The rooms and grounds were very clean. The unit was very spacious and our teenagers were pleased to have their own beds. We appreciated having a kitchen . We went to the Publix across the street for breakfast and snack items. We were able to walk to restaurants for dinner ( Outback Steakhouse, Freddy’s, Ford’s Garage). There is also a Walgreens across the street. The Disney parks were our focus and we used Uber to get to/from the parks. It’s about 15-20 mins to the parks. I was told the resort has a shuttle to transport guests to the parks, but it is not available due to Covid. This will DEFINITELY be a place we consider staying again.
