My husband and I were in town for the CEC conference that took place at the Orlando conference center. We stayed at The Point due to reviews and affordability for accommodations. I'll start with the five star aspects of the stay first. Because the whole experience wasn't 3 stars. It just evened out that way - Lisa at the pool bar was phenomenal. And Mike in the pool kitchen. Honestly 6/5 for these two absolute treasures. Loved them so much. Also the breakfast offered was incredible. House keeping was super sweet, and the front desk was exceptionally helpful. When we ordered door dash, the layout of the hotel was easy enough that they had no issues. But honestly, other than people who worked there, the experience was mediocre. The bed was horribly uncomfortable, and the light switch in the bathroom was also tied to the bathroom fan - we had to move to standing floor light to the bathroom to not be bothered by the obnoxious sound of the bathroom fan going off when we brushed our teeth or used the toilet. The duvet was covered by two flat sheets wrapped around each other. When booking a room, we also had reserved a kitchen with a stove as part of the accommodations, and did not receive. And going back to an earlier point, what kind of pretentious establishment doesn't even have duvet covers for their already uncomfortable beds? The employees of this hotel were the only shining stars of the experience.
Half measures when it comes to the public’s safety. A real shame for such a great place.

Maintenance and housekeeping were friendly and helpful. However, the front desk personnel seem to be exempt from Covid safety measures? The entire premises has masks mandated for all yet the front desk employees are not wearing any. None
Love this hotel

We are from Miami and The Points is the best place to stay. A few minutes from Universal, the pool is open late, and Carmen in the front has treated us the best!! I love staying in a place that is fun and friendly.

Definitely worth the stay. Very clean, spacious rooms with enough room to utilize the kitchenette for that multi-day stay. Excellent rec and pool area outside. Staff was polite and helpful with everything. Front desk person I spoke with was named Carmen I believe. Will definitely be staying again our next trip there. 👍 There is a restaurant there as well but our schedule was extremely busy during our stay to get to enjoy a meal there-

Good hotel. On business in Orlando til July. Bounced around a few places and finally found the Point. Breakfast quick and out the the door. A special thanks to Tiffany and the staff at the front desk for being accommodating, courteous and professional.
