This was an amazing place to go! Our second time staying here and we Plan on coming back again next year! Definitely very quiet place to rest your head and they are on top of everything at aventura plus our view was absolutely stunning of the parks! Best experience once again

The hotel and rooms were very clean. The hotel staff was very knowledgeable and courteous. Great price and value with easy access to the parks and City Walk. Breakfast was not the best. Having a Starbucks helped deliver a better experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.
Stayed for honeymoon

Was hoping for a great stay considering this is a theme park hotel. Highly disappointed with the room. Very small, climate control was terrible either hot or freezing, white wallpaper breaking at the seams. Only positive was bed was comfortable. Save your money and book literally anywhere else. I’ve had better experiences at a Holiday Inn
Worst Universal hotel, well the ONLY bad Universal hotel.

Maybe it was because I just came from being spoiled by the amazing staff at Portofino.. but my stay here was a disaster from the beginning to the end. I checked in at 12:00pm fully expecting for my room to not be ready (it's a holiday weekend and I am not unreasonable). I was correct and was instructed that I would receive a text when it was ready. My family and I killed time at the parks, and then they closed.... still no text. So we wandered around Citywalk and killed another hour... still nothing and it was 8:00PM so we decided to head back and check what was going on. Apparently my room was ready and I was never notified. I was obviously unhappy but it was blamed on me giving the wrong number by an insanely rude manager. Oh well maybe I did? I moved on and got the keys and went upstairs more than ready to just sit.... the room keys don't work. My family decided to wait while I went downstairs, back to rude manager and explained my issue. Once again I spoken to like it was my fault and I was inconveniencing the staff. Some free drink vouchers were thrown my way and I was told engineering would text when on the way. The best part? They did a test text while I was standing at the counter and I got it IMMEDIATELY. I had the right number in the system all along and they lied and blamed me for not giving them the correct number. At this point all I could do was laugh because when I told the team member at the counter that she immediately 'had something to do' and was off. Fast forward to after my free drink vouchers were used at the roof bar (staff there was AMAZING by the way, if you visit just do the bar and stay at Sapphire next door). We go back to our room to prepare for our 4:00AM departure and THE KEYS DONT WORK AGAIN! At this point I am so at my wits end I just want to leave. I make the trip back down to the front desk.. again. This time the manager won't even see me in person and makes the team member helping me run back and forth with her messages. I finally gave up because she obviously didn't want to face me and went back to my room to wait on engineering. To say I am disappointed is beyond. I have stayed at every Universal hotel except this one and was excited to finally see it. The staff, especially the manager have the worst attitudes I have ever encountered. Things happen, apologize and be nice about it. Don't blame the customer and treat them like they are inconveniencing you. Do yourself a favor and stay at ANY of the other hotels.
Great Place for Universal access!

Staff was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Enough amenities to make your stay pleasant. On-site parking, shuttles to the park and check in and out made it a snap to complete your trip. I would recommend staying here if you are in the area and definitely for Universal!
