Very bad experience. I would not consider it again.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed. My friends recommended this hotel many times, so I booked it for September 5 – 12. I even convinced some other family members traveling with me to stay with us instead of a Disney World Resort, and I am so disappointed. They had even worse issues. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids and booked a suite. Our experience was awful. It was a mess, very dirty, carpet looked like it was cleaned many years ago, the restaurant (fuel) was out of disposable plates for the third day of our stay, and never received plates again during our stay. They were out of bottled water and I called many times to lobby and they didn’t have. Our bathroom had a long black hair (we don’t have long hair nor black hair). On the first room we were allocated, there were ANTS everywhere, including towels, tables, literally everywhere. They sent somebody from lobby to spray the room with insect killer and I believe the formula they used was not for indoors because my kids started coughing, can you imagine that?. They allocated us in another room (first 12087 central, then 10139 west). I called desk services 3 times to request carpet cleaning because it was dirty and they never did anything. The webpage images looked very different than what I received. It is not fair that we chose this hotel to rest after a long day and we paid a lot, and we had an awful experience that made us believe that we were at a 1 star hotel. And if you thought that we received a discount for all the hassle that we went through, you are wrong. We paid the full amount. No discount. Only an email that they were sorry, just after we answered the check-out experience form, not during our stay. I usually don’t make this type of complaints but this needed to be addressed. I hope you do something.

Convenient to Epcot and Hollywood Studios

I’ve seen negative reviews of this hotel from people who visited it years ago. It may have been 5 star then, but it really isn’t now. However, the rooms are perfectly fine, though not large. They were very clean. The grounds and amenities are beautiful. The prices are reasonable when you consider that you don’t need to rent a car and can save the $25-45 per day parking fees at the park. They have complimentary transportation to all the parks which we found efficient and convenient. The staff were all very nice as well.

Average at best for Disney

Stayed here for a quick couple of days for Epcot Food and Wine. This property is NOT run by Disney. Marriott runs both this and the Swan. The common areas are VERY dated. Carpet is worn. Couch cushions in lobby are coming apart at the seems. Rooms were decent. They appear to have been updated within the last few years. Restaurants on site are OVERPRICED!!! Had breakfast there two mornings and powdered eggs and cold potatoes are not great. Coffee was brown water. There are some options but I imagine the others are the same. The redeeming quality of this place is the proximity to all Disney. There are plenty of transportation options available. The boat was a great way to get to Epcot. You are two miles from Disney Springs and Disney runs regular buses throughout the entire park. This was definitely not my first choice when booking this trip as my other option seems to be under renovation. Again, if you're going to Disney you really just need somewhere to lay your head. If that's all you're looking for then I guess this is a decent choice.

Nice, but disappointing customer service with reservations and Management follow-up

This hotel is lovely and the front desk staff were very accommodating and provided excellent information regarding the hotel. Unfortunately, we had originally booked at the new Swan Reserve Hotel. Even though I was pro-active and called to confirm our reservation at the Swan Reserve, we were reassured that the hotel would be ready and open. Surprisingly, we received a nondescript email just titled "cancellation", close to the time of our vacation and simply provided a phone number to call. This email could have been really easily missed. When my husband did call, the employee had no idea what this was about or what to do. We wrote two emails and were told that we would receive a call. No call came. We rebooked at the Dolphin on our own. When we arrived and discussed the situation, the front desk staff were responsive and forwarded our concerns. The manager called and left a voicemail. We called back twice with our availability and never received a call back. I am concerned that others not as proactive will be left in the lurch. The Customer Service needs some quality control and major improvement. Customers who booked the Swan Reserve need to perform due diligence and call several times to confirm that their reservations were not cancelled. That place does not look ready for guests yet.

For the cost of the hotel, I give it average remarks. The hallways were dirty and not cleaned during our stay. Services were poor. The bathrooms are difficult to get in and out of due to their design and size. Drinks were expensive for low quality wines ($13). It’s Disney and so it’s expensive. The good, the interior is nicely done. The ballrooms were nice. Close to Epcot.
