More about the hotel
Beautiful Venue
Lovely view of the water, great location, warm and friendly staff. We were there for 3 nights, while on a tour of Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, and Crete. Nice room with a patio overlooking a pool. Large breakfast. Cannot say enough about the staff. Thank you Gregory for your helpfulness in suggesting restaurants and how to utilize the bus lines. Also, Nick from Chicago, and 1 other individual whose name we did not write down. We recommend this hotel and Mykonos. Efharistow poli!
Great spot!
If you’re looking for a place with a view you found it, after a pleasant check in we had plans to venture to a cafe or restaurant with a view, no need, the rooms and common areas here have some of the best views of the bay below. Both nights we stopped by the local bakery to pick up some baklava and enjoy it back at the hotel which has exemplary service they brought out plates and cappuccinos($) for us. Great hospitality and views, would definitely stay here again.

Great experience and value for money. I would stay at Dorion again!
It was our second trip to Mykonos, we stayed at Dorion hotel and we thought it was the best in terms of location, value for money and service. The size of the room was good, amazing sea view, the receptionists were kind and friendly - everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Ornos beach is great because you have calm sea and less wind than at the other beaches, and from Ornos beach you can take a boat to some of the other great beaches such as Platis Gialos and Paraga. The hotel is in walking distance from nice restaurants such as Apaggio and Buddha bar. We even managed to walk to Hippie Fish from the hotel. The sun beds I recommend to book in advance then you get better attitude when you arrive, we used to go to Kuzina for sun beds. For breakfast we went to the place called "The Bowl", there you have an amazing healthy breakfast with nice tea. It is true that it was a bit stressful to cross the very busy road right when you walk out of the hotel, but you get used to it, you also get used going up the steep way up to the parking. The public bus service has not really worked for us, it is overcrowded and takes you ages to get to town as it is making rounds to pick up people from different locations. So you definitely need a vehicle to get around, as there is no pedestrian walkway by the road, it even feels stressful to walk. Note that you need a special driving license to rent a scooter, otherwise you need to rent a quadracycle. We did not want to rent a car as the streets can be really narrow sometimes. There is one beach I would recommend visiting when you rent a vehicle is Saint Anna in Agia Anna Kalafati and eat lunch at Wild by Interni with a great view when you are there.
Fantastic week away
We just spent a lovely week away at the beautiful hotel Dorion. It's the perfect place to come and recharge between all the adventures of exploring mykonos. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and gave excellent recommendations for food and things to do, they cant do enough for you. The beach is 5 minutes easy walking away and there are lots of bars and beach clubs. There's a bus stop just at the end of the street to take you to old town that runs until late, or the opposite direction takes you to Agios Ioanis beach if you want a day boat trip that includes a fantastic bbq and a visit to the UNESCO heritage site Delos Island, which we would also highly recommend. We really loved our stay and cant thank the hotel staff enough for everything they did.
