We stayed for 9 days in a twin room and it was not worth the money paid. First up, I must say, most the staff friendly, the location is ok, approx 500 meters+ from 2 train stations. the room was a Nice size for Japanese standards and were clean. THE UNPLEASANT SIDE You have a stove and sink which is totally useless, you have NO kitchen utensils, no knife, fork, spoons, plates or bowls. you have 2 mugs no small spoons. No coffee, sugar or milk is provided, only green tea and a metal kettle that you put on the stove. Beds were very very hard and uncomfortable, we advised reception and requested a mattress topper or something to make the bed comfortable and softer, they provided us with a small blanket to lay on the mattress.not very satisfactory at all. Only one chair in the room for 2 people We also requested a knife and plate to just cut some fruit in our room and were told in no uncertain terms NO. Breakfast was the exact same every morning. No variety at all and small.

No wonder it gets 8.8 review on tripadvisor~ Now I know why : 1. Friendly staffs to assist us. 2. Big rooms. 3. Clean bathroom. 4. There’s refrigerator, tv and even a kitchenette. 5. Traditional Japanese breakfast taste so good. 6. Drinking water provided( There’s vending machine too.) 7. There’s a coin laundry, vending machine & smoking room on the ground floor. 8. Even provided pyjamas!

The hotel is comfortable, The personnel appears very friendly and supportive. The traditiinal Japanese breakfast is really great. Rooms include all you need, includ. towels. Hair dryer. Nightlife is two stops away with the JR train.

Great service and good size room in Osaka. It's near the Tsuruhashi station (JR & subway) and makes traveling extremely easy. Service and breakfast are good too! We traveled with an infant and the size is quite good for him to walk around. A definite recommendation!

Location: Hotel trad is located in the middle of 2 station : Tsuruhashi and Momodani. We read the reviews and try alighting at Momodani station, however we felt that the way was longer than expected. Once you left the station, walk out towards right side and you will see a long road towards somewhere. At the end of that road, you will be facing Hotel Trad infront of you, across the street. If you are coming from Tsuruhashi station, use exit 4 (there is a lift) and turn left. Along the road, you will only see one 7-11 stores and go straight all the way until you saw a supermarket which the building was pinkish purple. Cross the road to the left and you will be able to see Hotel Trad along the street. Both stations takes about 10 mins walk at least, however if you have heavy and bulky luggage, i suggest taking the Tsuruhashi route :) . Room was REALLY big and spacious (the biggest with the price i paid for in japan)! It was really clean and awesome, and was equipped with min kitchen and a mini fridge. Toilet and bathroom are separated. They do provided toothbrush, comb, shiseido shower and hair care products. And oh not to worry, there is lift in this hotel :) Staff will friendly and were able to converse in English. They do have simple Japanese style breakfast at an additional cost in the morning. A nearby supermarket with eateries along the street towards Tsuruhashi station. Overall a nice stay here with the price paid for. Even though it's a little far from town area, the easy accessibility to train stations and the big rooms are something that can be worth staying here for.
